Love this gps mount I could have saved money and purchased this the first time.

I would recommend this mount as long as the buyer understands that heavy duty tape will most likely be needed to make the mount stay put.

The clamshell design is compact, easy to store and possibly a good mount for many gps -- unfortunatley, not for a Garmin 2455.

Together with the TFY Sun Shade, this mount worked perfectly with my old TomTom XL540TM.

It works great for a cell phone mount but does not work as a GPS mount because the charging cable interferes

I read the reviews and in anticipation, I bought heavy-duty double-side mounting tape, which worked great securing the mount to the dashboard.

Works well as replacement mount, stays in place does not slide around much.

The original mount would fall off the windshield on hot sunny days.

This mount is much more compact, holds the GPS very well and no more suction cup !!!

This mount will be useless unless you can put it where the sun doesn't shine--not a typo.
