    Grado SR60i Prestige Series Headphones

    • I guess it's a good thing though -- the company doesn't waste resources on decoration, choosing instead to focus on audio quality
    • You know the best thing about Audiophile headphones
    • The 701 costed me about $280, where as the SR60 was $80.Another note, the stock ear pads that came with the SR60's are not the most comfortable thing in the world.
    • This includes getting used by kids and spouse!I guess the only bad thing I can say is that they can be hot to wear at times, but duh, look at 'em
    • These things are clearer than my ETM earbuds and cost me about thirty dollars less
    • These things are classic, which means they look classic and have a very long, substantial cable
    • These things suck.
    • The odd thing is, though, you will need to give them a week or so of playing before their true colors show
    • Every good thing that you will read about these headphones is entirely true.
    • I really do love these things, I am not a headset guru, but i enjoy these much more then my normal ear buds
    • --- actually that's a good thing to be).
    • Buying headphones from a vendor with a customer-friendly return policy seems like a smart thing to do when buying online
    • Well those thing make this set even more comfortable
    • The only bad thing I've noticed about these headphones is that they aren't great for long listening periods (greater than 1.5 hours) without taking a break because they tend to hurt your ears after a while.
    • It's the best thing you can get for under $100"
    • This is actually a good thing though.
    • I cannot say enough good things about my Grado's.
    • I prefer to listen to flat sound and this is just the way I like things
    • the moment i open the box, i feel like this thing is cheap, however, its truly not the packaging that
    • The bad thing is they are not good for flying, which I do a lot of.
    • Another thing to be aware of is the noise leak
    • However, one thing you should be aware of is if you are planning on listening to music with people around, they will hear it loud and clear
    • I can also hear things like a phone ringing even with them cranked up, which is nice
    • However, the good things end there
    • the moment i open the box, i feel like this thing is cheap, however, its truly not the packaging that
    • I live in NYC and therefore tend to do my best to be polite to other people using mass transit, and to me one of the most impolite things you can do is blast music through headphones so loud that others can hear
    • Sometimes, too much bass is not such a good thing
    • Sound and sound quality are generally the least important thing to me when listening to music.
    • The only bad thing about them is they will eventually make you want to
    • uncomfortable earpads.good thing is the price and the fact that it is almost never discounted
    • I don't have the best ear for describing sound, but clarity would be the prime thing.
    • I had read good things about these headphones even with the criticism(?) of antiquated styling, uncomfortable headband and open headphone style
    • Truly amazing sound (though the bass could have been better, but I knew it before I decided to buy it, so no complaints). But, one thing I noticed is that the sound leaks out a lot
    • This , of course, isn't the best thing for your ears...especially considering that these don't distort when you crank them
    • This could be a good or bad thing depending on where you're listening
    • i would recommend these things for anyone who has an ipod , good sound card or quality hi-fi system and likes their music to be played thru some serious headphones (and doesnt mind an open backed desing)
    • On the topic of comfort, these things were incredibly uncomfortable, especially after wearing them for 8 hours a day, 7 days a week
    • But them I looked into them and only read amazing things
    • The SR60i headphones are without a doubt the single best thing I have bought in a very long
    • I actually am no expert in audio equipment, I bought this product because I heard great things about it -plus the company as well-
    • The best thing I can say about these headphones is that the detail is incredible.
    • These things are great, got them yesterday, so I'm still burning them in, but right out of the box these cans sounded amazing, since I have been using nearly blown out phillips headphones for the past two months
    • It doesn't dominate the mix the way it does with Beats, but this is a good thing if you are listening to a wide range of music
    • and I really appreciate quite a few things about
    • That being said these things are fairly easy to drive
    • I've owned a pair of senns, and the only thing I can say is that I love the Grado sound stage
    • These do sound great and they aren't going to kill the pocket book like bose but these things are loud.
    • they're not the most stylish thing in town
    • The sound will allow you to hear good things in your music that you may have missed thereby making your current music collection seem "new".
    • By far, the thing that impressed me the most about the SR60 is the sheer openness of the sound
    • Many have commented on sound leakage, but if you are like me and mainly enjoy these alone in the comfort of your own home, that is only a good thing
    • Only thing that I would say is the comfort of wearing this
    • I have read many good things about Grado Quality and most importantly the S.Q. that Grado is well known for
    • The sound will allow you to hear good things in your music that you may have missed thereby making your current music collection seem "new".
    • The only thing I can think of that is a negative is the amazing amount of leakage from these
    • 1 - You can only research decent headphones before you realize 99% of the places you look only have great things to say about the SR60s.
    • If they broke I would definintely replace them with the same model
    • Fast forward into 2009 and the Grado line saw a slight improvement brining forth the "i" after their product names, "i" of course for "improved
