    Grado SR60i Prestige Series Headphones

    • It doesn't dominate the mix the way it does with Beats, but this is a good thing if you are listening to a wide range of music
    • It fills my head, not just my ears--that's the best way I can describe it.
    • The cans are really difficult to adjust correctly, and the way the cables are arranged makes it really difficult to wear these headphones comfortably without having the cable brushing up against your neck or twisting around in some weird fashion
    • design is very dated and not particularly in a good way.
    • like the way they keep my ears warm and give a wonderful warm sound to the music
    • She loves the way they look, they way they feel, and the way they block outside noise
    • The best way to test audio equipment is to listen to a CD you know really well
    • Definitely a good buy for the price and a great way to introduce someone to quality sound.
    • So the best way to avoid the hassle of returning them is to audition them before you buy.
    • Either way, I love the sound that comes from these
    • Now the sound… best way to describe it is 'neutral.'
    • If you wonder what you’re missing with your ear buds, then these are a great and relatively inexpensive way to find out!
    • I have a fairly large head, and they don't press on my ears in any painful way, even after a long listening session.
    • During that time I've slapped them on maybe a hundred other sets of ears, always getting the "no way
    • Pros:long cable with adapter for large pluggreat soundaffordableCons:Not comfortable for extended wearing (3+ hours)No easy way to wrap cord for storage
    • I like the way they
    • Listening to music through them for a week is a good way to break them in
    • They are a great way to brag too
    • The best way I can describe it is you will notice better "spatial" separation with the instruments and voices in the music -- it's much easier to hear the sometimes too-subtle-for-earbuds sounds, like a high hat or a little down-in-the-mix flourish from a keyboard -- something that previously was lost in the noise but now cuts through clearly
    • They work great with an Ipod also which is great since these are a great way for a beginning audiophile to dip in.
    • I think they look pretty darn cool in a "Radar O'Reilly way."The plug at the end of the cord is the small plug that fits a computer and
    • But an audiophile really is a person who Loves Good Sound reproduced in the best possible way.
    • The cables are also wired in a bad way so regular use causes a lot of wear and tear on them
    • My only suggestion would be improving the way the headband connects to the ear pieces.
    • I mean that in a good way
    • The product also came missing a
    • I decided to go with the less expensive SR-60's and it turns out they are as good as or better than the much more expensive competitors from Grado and Sennheiser.
    • But when you get the settings right, you can make them sound almost as good as through a CD player.
    • almost as well as you can
    • but you seriously might as well buy some portable speakers and plug them into your player because everybody and their mom will hear these things (almost as well as you can)!
    • I'm moving on to more expensive Sennheisers as I'm not so broke as to put up with
    • If you are looking for a pair of headphones to throw around, these are not for you as they should be taken care of and respected (as they are awesome).Pick up a pair as you won't regret it!
    • The biggest issue over time is the connecting wires to each headphone, as well as to the jack
    • This means that when I start mastering a track that already has a lot of bass, I sometimes actually boost where a cut would be more sufficient, and leads to a muffled mid section in a more bass-heavy headset, such as my Sony XB-500s
    • Even though I gave it 3 stars I still recommend these headphones as they are decent for the price.
    • When you step up to good headphones you will notice that your source material may not be great, mp3s for instance can be horrible and if your grabbing your mp3s from iTunes or elsewhere they may not be as good as if your ripped the material yourself.
