    Gran Turismo 6

    • You would have to play full time for years to get a good race car.
    • are well done and entertainingNeutral:=No need to grind race after race for cash, but cars feel less rewarding then
    • Practically every other popular racing game out there destroys the GT series in car customization and modification
    • Forza if you want a all around good racing game.
    • This is a pretty solid racing sim, I like it a lot more than previous gt's excluding the original
    • This is a great realistic racing game if that is what you are looking for.
    • some races I am far from the PP limit and win races by huge margins with mistakes.. and that is just weird
    • It is so rewarding to win races and earn just enough to buy a new car.
    • He said it's the best racing game he's ever tried...and, believe me, he's tried a lot!
    • GT games are always the best racing games and the graphics are cool
    • Frustrating and hard races can be ok, but they should be optional races that do not hinder reaching major portions of the game
    • There are only two reasons I can think of for this decision: 1) The developer got sick of complaints of idiots buying useless, golf-cart-like cars with their initial credits, that they decided to force you to buy a car that will guarantee the ability to win your first few races, and 2)Honda dished out a bunch of money to make it happen
    • (...er, well it's not my tv's fault or the PS3 so hold on there), and still no good Seasonal *races* (only time trials) for the fun of trying different cars while racking up credits to get more cars...
    • Worst racing game ever.
    • As you move along, "goodies" unlock, being liberally defined as "one make races" back again from GT4, where you buy the car, trundle around like a taxicab against similar cars, where you win 3 minute races by 30 seconds
    • By far the worst racing game I've played.
    • Where is that sense of accomplishment when talent gets you to win the race, not a car that outpaces the competition (not even performance limitations, which I am glad they introduced from GT4, make races feel competitive)
    • Either way, happy racing and get them tires spinning.
    • GT6 is a good racing game, but to be honest the driving experience is not much different from GT5.
    • Within 3/4 lap, I was back ahead again, and won the race by 15 seconds after a few more "oops" incidents
    • This is however the best racing simulator one can get for the PS3
    • Online racing crippled by very low payouts (even after a red-faced second patch) causing difficulty in obtaining cars and the removal of shuffle racing
    • 2ND Best racing game that there is (GT5) !!!
    • I can't play it enough, one of the best racing games out there
    • it is worth playing but i miss the 24 hour races and i wish it would go to the last save point in the case of a power outage instead of erasing it
    • The best racing view for a lot of sim racers is one where your TV/Monitor is the windshield .. so you can see the wipers and the hood
    • This to me is the best real racing game on the market
    • I was saddened when the online servers for GT5 we're shut down, because the seasonal races were far superior to the ones on GT6.
    • It is a nice racing game, however thee handling characteristics of certain cars such as Comaros and Corvettes are off as compared to previous versions of GT games.
    • Great fun, specially when you play it with a good racing wheel!
    • If you just want to jump in and have fun and win every race very esily then you'll find it hard to enjoy this game
    • When I had original xbox, 15 years ago , I had better racing games than this crap
    • But if you're new to the series, and this will be your first Gran Turismo game, its a fantastic racing game
    • Drag racing and drifting seem to be popular, with many other races and styles always available.
    • Gran Turismo has always been the best racing sim out there
    • the racing is great.
    • I loved the challenge of trying to win races, but having to be cautious with steering and acceleration, and I loved how even beefed up and tuned cars needed precision and focus in order to win
    • The go kart racing is practically impossible to beat
    • the other races don’t seem that hard to beat
    • This is the best racing game out there
    • Drag racing and drifting seem to be popular, with many other races and styles always available.
    • Good racing game
    • Over 15 years Gran Turismo has released 6 brilliantly laid out and well executed racing simulations
    • Fun, but I could've stopped buying this game at GT5.Ideas for GT7- Street Races...lose the race, lose your car- Track Races for GT money or your
    • I've been playing GT since day one and yes I also own all the other racing games as well like NFS, etc
    • Winning races is of course based to at least some degree of skill, but most people who participate in any race are not going to be the winners of the race
    • I have both systems and they are both great for drifting, racing, drag, and good racing communitys.
    • Do yourself a favor and get a nice racing wheel to play this with and you will have fun like you never thought possible from a video game!
    • First off, do not be fooled by other reviews; Gran Turismo 6 is the absolute best racing sim out there, at least on consoles
    • The races and other events are devilishly painful to play because they are so boring and uninteresting
    • When you look at GT6 by itself, it's a pretty solid racing sim that starts you out with the basics and helps you grow into the larger, faster cars
    • As it is, the slow car races are both low speed *
    • Obviously the first thing you’ll want to do is turn off all the assists, which include the obligatory dynamic racing line, traction control, ABS, and what have you
    • Excellent racing game
    • Great racing game !
    • They have included a new time compression feature that can compact a whole 24 hour race into 24 minutes.
    • GT6 delivers a fun enjoyable racing game that is worth the $40 purchase and gives you a lot of material to work with.
    • only after doinga number races, which made it feel as though the license tests were tacked on, instead of being a legit portion of the game(TL;DR VERSION)Essentially, the game felt like it was holding your hand every step of the way
    • It's the BEST racing simulator EVER!
    • Even though I had done pretty well for myself in GT5, the first races still challenged me!Overall, a significant improvement on a very stellar game
    • Just a great racing game and you will need to get an understanding relating to adjustments of suspension, brakes, gearing etc.
    • He says the online races aren't very good either, and has moved on to other games
    • No one wants to pay $60 or more for a game then spend another $40- $100 just to stand a chance to win a race
    • In the context of my racing game library, GT6 is the game I'll pick up when I want to enjoy a quick race or two.
    • and some cars are way too fast and some races are impossible to get first place but
    • The game play is phenomenal, although if you are an experienced GT5 user and you're switching right over...you know how it is re-starting back at the beginning...easy races in slow crappy cars that you win very little money in
    • Which isn't a terrible thing--GT5 was a very good racing game
    • But virtual trophies are about as useless and virtual racing jackets and helmets, so I don't understand the complaint.'The Go Carts are impossible'
    • Still the best racing simulator out there
    • I don't like cartoon racing.
    • It is still the best racing simulator on the market and 6 tweaked the simulation a little more
    • Damage: you can still slam into a wall at 180mph and drive away, your race should be over and you should be dead, it's a racing simulator
    • The racing is tight and rewarding, the career is not boring, but gives you incentives to keep playing, unlike the previous iteration.
    • Amazing racing-sim.
    • The recommended cars are very useful and point caps keep you from slaughtering early races with super sticky race tires
    • This means that you can no longer lap everyone at the sunday cup, or use a totally OP car in a well paying race
    • That kind of make me angry, because I had to mod that car to win 5 races and that money could have got me a civic for the same price or less.
    • I love the racing, It adapts to the way you race, however, the short series is rather odd
    • I installed it on my Ps3 with no trouble (then), It was impossible to win a race without using a steering wheel so I bought a G27
    • It's a good game, but is quite the same as GT5.No big improvements, but still a good racing game!
    • Do not make the same mistake and buy the best racing program on the market, GRID 2!!
    • Either way, it's a terrible decision and sets the pace of the game back 1 or 2 hours as you win enough races to get your wasted credits back and buy the car you wanted
    • I don't play enough race sim games to have any valid contribution to this.
    • this may not be an issue, nor is any of it an issue if you don't have an internet connection (though you are still missing out on some content that was later released such as better race payouts that make obtaining cars much, much faster).
    • This is a truly enjoyable and challenging racing simulator that will keep any enthusiast busy for weeks
    • While many may feel the differences to be minor, I feel that Gran Turismo 6 feels and looks much less like "a realistic racing game"
    • It was like finding an Easter Egg every few races
    • Fast and furious and the realest a racing game can get
    • This is a great game and the most realistic racing game wit an in game feeling
    • The best racing simulator ever
    • I like racing
    • and I recommend it to anyone looking for a solid racing platform.
    • If I need more power to win a race (or usually less power so the race is competitive) I just buy a different car with a few more/less PP.
    • They don't convey a sense of driving outrageously powerful racing cars
    • Also, I miss the endurance races.
    • The recommended cars are very useful and point caps keep you from slaughtering early races with super sticky race tires
    • Awesome racing game - one of the best
    • Best racing game on the PS3
    • There's nothing worse than wasting credits on a car that cannot win any races
    • I understand this is probably because the races are too easy if you start ion the front.
    • Fun racing game with plenty of car options.
    • This would be great for someone, if there is someone, who really loves driving really powerful race cars, that go totally out of control any time you want to do something like turn your car
    • Best and most realistic racing game out there
    • Other games may offer a better racing "environment" from an arcade perspective, GT6 offers a better "racing simulation".If you are looking for cheap thrills and an arcade setting, do not purchase GT6.
    • Don't get rewarded with a car after each event win as always before
    • At first it may seem similar to GT5 with a slight lean of the cars as they turn and tumble
    • So its as realistic as it can be.
    • I tend to have occasionally while making me feel like I have a legitimate impact on the cars I use if I so choose, as well as giving you complete freedom on how you progress (such as staggering the license tests with the racing categories, or getting all the licenses up front and letting you pick and choose your races from
    • The menu system has been changed for the better and maybe loading times have been improved a
    • I like this a lot, since you don't only have your own ghost car but also the computer that you need to beat racing as fast as you are
    • Plus driving some of the really fast cars (Pagani, Ferrari) is no where near as fun or exciting as it should be
    • The A.I. is not as good as in GT5.
