    Gran Turismo 6

    • It's like this all the time.
    • You may end up wasting more time in the long run.- You will have to be patient with it
    • I wouldn't waste my time with something like this with a standard controller
    • card! All told it's enough to make a long-time GTer like me cry.
    • WARNING this game can eat time your time with all the breathe taking efficiency of sleeping.
    • They have included a new time compression feature that can compact a whole 24 hour race into 24 minutes.
    • DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON GT6.
    • somehow I doubt they even had time to dream up ways to tamper with progression, to tempt us into spending cash on cars
    • this game was a Christmas present for my son he loves it plays it all the time and really enjoys it
    • The time for loading the tracks and cars is very fast and the way you can customize your cars is better and faster
    • It fixes the annoying loading times and is much quicker and streamlined
    • You waste so much time in the early going to win so little money that I can't see how anyone can buy all the better cars available
    • It took me a while to like it but being a old time Gran Turismo fan its worth the price.
    • This is the only game I play when I get the free time .love it
    • However, Just like most people in here, I had a hard time figuring out how to update the game
    • Every time it tried to install, it would say error and start over.
    • how much I struggle to get a better lap time
    • First off, let me start by saying that this game does take quite a while to install - that is because Polyphony Digital has released so many updates that the installer has a tough time handling them and
    • Many times now, you can make reasonable slides and recover about like a real car, and you can make mistakes that have the same consequences more realistically than before
    • I have a hard time controlling the cars.
    • Several times, during smooth cornering, it was like the rear end of the car jumped off the ground
    • It's a simulation, not an arcade racer, and no, unlike in games like Grid, damage is nothing more than superficial (offline) and has no impact whatsoever on your handling or performance, other then the time you lose on the racetrack
    • I can deal with that, and I've had a great time enjoying this game.
    • You waste so much time in the early going to win so little money that I can't see how anyone can buy all the better cars available
    • For trophy hunters, this game won't be the grueling grind like it was on Gran Turismo 5, and the trophies can be all acquired within a month's time if you work at it
    • Spending a week's worth of free time to qualify for things I have in past game generations is principally and practically unacceptable and a turn off more than the game's features are worth
    • but I can now pull good lap times with FF cars taking the type of turns that benefits the
    • but SCEA has always found a way to keep the game fresh, which they did this time as well
    • Doesnt waste your time loading like GT5
    • This is comparable to the insane install time that Gran Turismo 5 forced
    • Not worth the time.
    • All in all, I think the price paid for this game is well worth it - just make sure you allocate enough time to download the game so that you don't have to leave your system running overnight.
    • Nice game to relax and kill some time with.
    • good delivery time and excellent game
    • I was going to blast the download version of this game in my review, because it took a very long time to download and update (all night and part of the next day), but after playing, and seeing just what this game is, I understand and accept the long download and update times as reasonable
    • Basically, you're just splitting up the large updates so the game has an easier time unpacking them
    • Immediately needs to be updated and requires many hours of downloads and install time, which ultimately fails.
    • I got it to the Promised Time
    • I don't like the menu system this time around as you gotta keep backing out of the levels unlike in GT5 where you could go straight to the "home" button and immediately get out of say a race that was waaay deep within the menu.
