Griffin RoadTrip FM Transmitter with SmartScan for iPod

    • One of the nicest features of this transmitter is that it has a semi-rigid arm for holding the iPhone/iPod, allowing you position it so you get optimal reception on your radio.
    • In another car with the antenna on the back quarter panel and another with it on the roof in the rear, the reception is awful.
    • Doesn't always pick up a good station, so he ends up switching the channel 4 or 5 times to get one with good reception
    • As I entered the Neward NJ area the reception was slightly less clear but still listenable
    • Of course there's always going to be brief patches of static but for the most part, my reception has been clear with this product.
    • In one car with the antenna on the front quarter panel, the reception is not good but at least holds for more than a few blocks.
    • The only thing is that it doesn't get the best reception, which my old one never had problems with.
