The game has lasting replay value with some incredibly difficult songs.- Cooperative Multiplayer Mode!

The graphics are better, more content, better venues, more songs, ramped up difficulty, easier hammer ons and pull offs, a new practice mode and a better tutorial mode

The new two-player cooperative mode (available in addition to two competitive modes) is great

Not having the cooperative career will not affect the review though because just having the cooperative mode is very cool

Believe me, there's some songs that are a great frustrating challenge to try and beat in hard and expert modes

Same Guitar Hero formula is intact, better multiplayer modes, more characters and unlockables, another great AAA soundtrack

At first the easy mode seemed really hard and the hard mode looked absolutely impossible

We have already gone back and bought the first one (also a great game, but guitar II is a dramatic improvement over guitar I if for no other reason than the addition of an excellent practice mode) and we can't wait for number III

First is the cooperative mode which is a two player mode that allows one player to play the lead guitar and the other player to play either the bass or the rhythm guitar (depending on the song)

This mode is only available after beating the game on any difficulty

The songs are also very fun to play, even on Hard and Expert modes, especailly Carry On Wayward Son, Sweet Child O' Mine, Last Child, and Jessica.- Multiplayer mode is superb.

The Easy mode is a great entry-level mode.

My son picked it up right away and with a little practice, he was able to play almost any song in easy mode.

Despite the issues listed above it's still a great game that will keep you addicted for many hours, especially with the new cooperative mode

The cooperative mode is great so players that have different skill levels can still play together.

There's now a cooperative mode and training that'll teach you how to play the SG guitar controller

When we started we didn't think we'd be able to play the easy mode.

A challenging Career mode with Hard and Expert modes along with earning cash that you can use to unlock character, guitars, songs, etc.

There are 5 bass guitars unlockable in cooperative mode.

Another feature that would be nice is the ability to play through the game in cooperative mode
