Great manual/portable breast pump

Easy to use, convenient, great suction, works better than my expensive electric pump

I got a fancy automatic pump through insurance for free and I hated it

While the electric pump I use worked great, I LOVE to use my haakaa

It doesn't work very good as a "manual pump" - it hurts if the suction is strong, and it doesn't get anything out if the suction is not good enough

I personally hate the electric pump and being chained to the wall with the tiny amount of free time you have as mom to

Electric pumping left my nipples sore and chafing

It was especially useful in the early weeks when the drs recommended no electrical breast pumps

It doesn't replace an electric pump but I prefer it.

This pump is perfect

The trick is to massage the breast & not let the pump do all the work.

3/4 times were like the picture above, and the 1/4 time it seemed to work reasonably well, but still not as great as a regular pump.

Love it for newborn stage I will eventually invest in a good electric pump.

When I started looking for them on Amazon, I came across this little gem and thought it looked interesting ... for $12, it cost less than the shields, could catch more, and looked like an alternative to my preferred manual pump

I hate the traditional pumps, I could feed my baby and pump.

You may find that you want to also use a classic electric pump to get that deep release when you are away from baby for longer periods ... be gentle to yourself and don’t put stress on you to do things a certain way

It may be useful for catching dripping milk from your opposite breast when feeding your baby, but otherwise this is useless as a pump.

The pump is not stable when you set it on the table and easily topples over and spills the milk everywhere

The one negative I encountered is that my little one will often accidentally kick / knock the pump off, sometimes causing spilled milk

my pump is actually much more comfortable, but especially in the middle of the night when I am exhausted it is nice to just put this on the other breast and put the milk in the fridge until I deal with it in the morning than have to worry about putting together pump parts and rinsing them out afterwards so they don't get gross
