    Halo 3 - Xbox 360

    • Overall,if you're looking for a good multi-player game...or just a cool game to play alone...then Halo 3 is for you.
    • Jaw dropping hi-def visual effects, amazing game-play, jacked up AI for the hardcore legendary players, the epic multiplayer that made its predecessor so great improved by hundred fold
    • It also has the 4 player split screen multiplayer capability like halo 2 did
    • Intense multi-player, cool new weapons, new feature called equipment, and the saved film option is awesome
    • New map modes and options really let the player let loose with creativity as well, and result in an incredible amount of replay value that an FPS hasn't seen in quite some time.
    • In multiplayer if you either want to just go online and start killing other players in a mad rush or if you want to work as a team and capture the other teams flag this is the game for you
    • The campaign supports 4-player co-op over Xbox Live, a feature that is quite fun and amazing
    • the new forge is awsome and makes for awsome player created dlc
    • However, if played on Heroic or Legendary a solo player will have quite the time beating the game, as some fights get so intense they will find themselves dying a lot
    • Competitive players can even review their play this way, seeing what they did right and wrong
    • it's a really fun one player or two player game.
    • Single player champaigns as well as multiplayer online play
    • It seems to be a shinier version of Halo 2, and the single player was horrible
    • For example there is a skull that, when turned on, will award the player with a chorus of children screaming "yay!" and confetti if he/she scores a successful head shot
    • For those who enjoy multi player, whether It's system link or over XBox live, the replay value is infinite and undoubtedly will suck up most of your time on the 360.
    • And it's always great to beat this game through on Legendary single player!
    • The game is well rounded and has one of the best single player experiences available in an FPS with a great multi-player as well
    • More than that, multi-player alone is worth buying this game.
    • It's a solid shooter with a well-designed single-player campaign, and incredible depth to the multiplayer system, but overall, nothing to write home about.
    • The single player, though short was fun and may be worth a few playthroughs
    • As an avid PC FPS player, the original Halo and Halo 2 dissapointed me, mainly the single player aspect
    • All of them support more than 30 players
    • The single player and multiplayer are both great.
    • The single player is pretty fun overall, and the coop options make it great, but played alone, its only decent, especially when compared against Half-Life 2.
    • On the other hand, what Halo shines is it massively impressive multi player mode both online and co-op, which is impressively well done and is the game ultimate strenght
    • a great Halo player that advances his or her skill can do things that aren't possible in other games, regardless of how good you are
    • A great Halo player can win a battle that doesn't start in their favor, such as someone shooting you first
    • Experienced players will enjoy Heroic difficulty, and Legendary is definitely for the practiced of hand.
    • For example there is a skull that, when turned on, will award the player with a chorus of children screaming "yay!" and confetti if he/she scores a successful head shot
    • This game has such good multi player and forge mode
    • Also, if you are looking for pure single player you will be saddly disappointed at the length.
    • The multi-player is pretty good, but its X-Box live that sets this game apart, first, its grapics are beyond the scale, maybe better than "Gears of War", second, the weapons are like none-other, the new grenade is my faverite, and third, my friends and I thought that Halo 2 couldn't be beat, Halo 3 proves us wrong
    • It seems strange that ranked Lone Wolf matches have only 5 players, for example, and that most of the team modes in ranked play have 8 players (4 to a side) when the game supports up to 16.
    • The multi-player is fun
    • If used, player will be invisible, and Auto-Turret--an independent hovering object that shoots a beam at enemies, but can be destroyed easily.)The missions are fun and challenging, and another huge plus for Halo 3--Achievements!
    • Intense multi-player, cool new weapons, new feature called equipment, and the saved film option is awesome
    • It also has the 4 player split screen multiplayer capability like halo 2 did
    • Improvements aside, the game requires you to be an elite player of Halo to get any decent k/d ratios online and to have fun
    • Halo 3 is set up similar to Halo 2 in the sense that you're given a rank when you play multiplayer (this rank can go up or down at any time) this rank is representative of your skill and your matched with others of your skill type, that way new unskilled players and hardcore veterans will not often play against one another, unless they make a special match themselves that ignores rank
    • the single player was down right terrible
    • I have no clue how Bungie has pulled off these amazing graphics with up to 4 players split-screen with no framerate hitches at all
    • I'm sure the single player is fun, but nobody that I know even messes with it so be sure to have an Xbox LIVE account because that's where it's at with Halo 3.
    • Playing online with the amazing multi-player maps is great fun
    • I will just go on the record reinforcing the notion that Halo 3 suffers for its shallow and repetetive single player campaign
    • To me it seems as if the programming is now favoring the weaker players
    • Great for noobs who play once a week - bad for skilled players who deserve higher ranks without being grouped with unskilled players
    • Not so much fun especially when you can get beat down though a wall with this garbage of a weapon or a camping scrub hiding a corner lurking for unexpected players
    • Go to the theater and watch the game from their perspective.-Trash talk other players as you pound them into spartan pulp
    • New map modes and options really let the player let loose with creativity as well, and result in an incredible amount of replay value that an FPS hasn't seen in quite some time.
    • The single player is great
    • Much akin to the previous installments, Halo 3 offers an excellent story, and an enjoyable single player experience.
    • Large scale battles, beautiful distances, amazingly smart AI, and excellent 4-player co-op.
    • Halo 3 is a great single player experience
    • However, the multi-player is a bit bland at times
    • The single player was long enough, epic enough, and fun enough to make the co-op experience probably one of the most satisfying gaming experiences of my life, and I've done a lot of gaming
    • so I was surprised when the single player was worse than I expected.
    • Great for noobs who play once a week - bad for skilled players who deserve higher ranks without being grouped with unskilled players
    • The first Halo had a pretty solid single player campaign, and most people expected them to create some amazing campaigns in the following Halos
    • To me it seems as if the programming is now favoring the weaker players
    • Over Xbox Live, players can compete against one another in large parties, gaining stats as they fight
    • The main reason I bought Halo 3 was for the single-player campaign, which I enjoyed in Halo 1 & 2.
    • I am probably one of the worst Halo players out there but that doesn't stop me from having fun this game has hours and hours of replay value and is worth the $60 they charge you for it.
    • The graphics are better, the story is better, the AI is better, the games mechanics are better, and the online multi-player is BETTER!!
    • The only things I'd recommend for Halo 4 are faster load times, more modern physics/controls for the vehicles (perhaps a helmet view or cockpit view ala Forza), and a better single player campaign
    • Experienced players will enjoy Heroic difficulty, and Legendary is definitely for the practiced of hand.
    • you love online multi-player, this game is probably for you.
    • The multi-player is great
    • The M rating didn't bother me as I had seen the other Halo games.
    • It's always focused between the two main characters and never breaking them as they did in Halo 2
    • It's as if Halo fanatics never took a glimpse at Counterstrike, Battlefield or dozens upon dozens of other PC FPS games that offer more gameplay options, refined gameplay, immersive graphics and A.I. that acts human
    • This doesn't work perfectly as you'd expect though as they are not able to read your mind and drive accordingly.
    • People of all skill levels play together, sometimes based on skill, sometime not (players choice), I made friends online and invited my personal friends to join as well, this game is an easy A+++!
    • this game is good for laughs with friends--but it is so unbalanced and unfair that even after you are a level 30, and still cant figure out how 3 clips from a brute shot dont kill a level 2 as he turns and shoots once for the win---this game is no break-thru, the maps are few, the gametypes are poor, and no skill is required--just luck of the draw.
    • Some people are kinda stuck up about how H:R and H4 are better
