    Halo 3 - Xbox 360

    • I love stories and in writing and filmmaking, story really does triumph over everything else and my experiences with gaming is no different.
    • In typical Halo fashion there is an enjoyable and unique story
    • Pro's: Great GraphicsGreat Sound effectsNew weapons and itemsGreat Story and ConclusionCon's
    • The Story is captivating
    • Gameplay was easy and repetitive and there wasn't a decent story arc
    • Alright, I've purchased every version of Halo since it was released on PC back in '03, I've loved each and every one, the story has been great, the gameplay has been superb, and the multiplayer has been hours of fun
    • Basically this game ties up the Halo story in one of the best story telling in a game period, only Mass Effect and Assasins Creed can hold their own compared to Halo 3.
    • I understand that Halo is online multiplayer at it finest but some of us would prefer a little more story
    • The only downside was the story did seem a bit shorter than previous versions.
    • but you still expect a certain level of decent story
    • I loved the graphics, game play, and story
    • The story's lost a lot of its originality (go to alien world number 3, blow up Halo number 3), but the campaign regains that sense of... "epicness" that you took from Halo 1.
    • Halo 3 is the end of an awesome story and provides a really good fight
    • The story is lame, the graphics are mediocre
    • halo 3 has fun action and a great story line also this game has a good multilayer and a Xbox one version in the master chief collection also forge mode is
    • The story just drags on...
    • Varied level design, lots of different vehicles, and a good story help break up what used to be a boring trek through levels that all looked the same
    • There are very realistic graphics and a very compelling story
    • Halo 3 really didn't advance too much from Halo 2's game play mechanics, or stray too much from its online multiplayer which truly isn't a bad thing (modifications make it much easier online but not much better). The story isn't so much deep as it is captivating how's that
    • I won't spoil the story, but Halo 3 picks up exactly where Halo 2 left off
    • amazing game, I love it since the begining, great story, really anjoyable gameplay many escenaries and vehicles, nothing was predictable
    • Anyway, the story gets a little crazy & confusing with the introduction of Guilty Spark (Halo 1), the Flood coming back (H1 & H2), some talking venus flytrap looking thing (which I assume is the leader of the Flood), the death of both Miranda Keyes and Sgt
    • and I hope that they give us a good story to send us off a little bit satisfied that we bought this game
    • Yes, it finishes a great story.
    • The singleplayer is way too serious, the story is kinda stupid, and there were no bosses
    • The story was entertaining and filled with a variety of circumstances that really kept the player on the edge of suspense.
    • The lousy programming, the sense of ennui, the collapse of creativity and the dull story will probably turn your stomach.
    • So all and all Halo 3 is an alright multi-player game, but the story is awful, the graphics are sub-par considering we've seen such games as Half-Life2, `Gears of War', and `Call of Duty 4' display far superior improvements in the field.
    • but then I researched all the background on Wiki and then went back and played through all three games and the story is very solid and thrilling from start to end
    • Excellent graphics, fun gameplay, a fast-paced conclusive story, Halo 3 has it all
    • Without spoiling anything, the game kind of disregards trying to make the story new and exciting (or showing any effort on its behalf)
    • With a Movie scheduled for 2012, maybe the story will continue on the big screen like Resident Evil did, but who knows
    • the game just fit in to what i wanted i was amazing story and
    • The story from the first Halo is great, and although sometimes you can get lost in the missions, you have a general idea of what you're working toward or trying to accomplish.
    • --the story really just seems like a lame cop-out by the developers.
    • THis game has a great story, music, multiplayer, and most important gameplay
    • Let me just start off by saying that I disliked Halo 2 greatly, it was almost entirely multiplayer focused, and although the story was robust, it was poorly cobbled together in probably one of the most bland and contrived single player campaign's I have ever played
    • The first two Halo games on the Xbox console were Great, 5 stars all the way, I really enjoy the story of Halo and the first 2 games in the series kept me very
    • Best I've here on a consoleStory 3.5/5 pretty short story mode, however its a very good story with plenty of ooo and
    • you've played other Halo games, then you basically know what the story in Halo 3 will be like
    • I think this can well possibly true if Nintendo doesnt pop out a hit in their next two games (Super Smash Brothers and Super Mario Galaxy).Pros-Intense Story Line-part of a
    • I think they did a terrible job wrapping up the story.
    • First off, Halo 3 has a good story mode, but not as good as Halo 2
    • The graphics are better, the story is better, the AI is better, the games mechanics are better, and the online multi-player is BETTER!!
    • It is incredibly typical sci-fi stuff, which wouldn't be a huge problem if people didn't constantly say its such an incredible story
    • So Halo 3 doesnt havethe best story nor
    • Playing the campaign, it doesn't seem that they spent a lot of time on it, like Halo 2.The story is not very interesting, continuing from Halo 2, which wasn't very interesting to begin with
    • Varied level design, lots of different vehicles, and a good story help break up what used to be a boring trek through levels that all looked the same
    • I can't really say too much about the story without spoiling anything, however the story starts out strong right where Halo 2 left off, and goes on strong
    • You might wonder why you are fighting in the first place, but Bungie did a good enough job of trying to keep it a new, fresh story
    • Overall the campaign was fantastic, the story was still robust, but delivered very well
    • I know that Halo 2 suffered in this department as well, but Halo 3 you instantly take note of how poor the story is.
    • The story is actually solid as well and doesn't disappoint.
    • So to end spoilers let me tell youabout the story it does not have any twists nor curves I think is becausesince all the levels are so unique it also seems like theres on level anotherlevel and antother level not one ongoing experience like in Halo 1it isnt a bad thing on is just more arcady then the other plus the missingwow moment like playing as the Arbeiter in halo 2 or theGravemind or Flood in Halo 1 nothing like that to be found
    • Story is great, cutscenes are great, multiplayer is great, ending is great
    • 10/10really fun game to pick, like how it'sin the future.story: 10/10a really good story
    • The game is beautiful, the story is well thought out, and the weapons and combat are top notch.
    • This game is great the story is totally awesome.
    • Whether or not you'll prefer it over Gears of War is another story entirely, but needless to say, there is plenty here to keep you occupied for quite some time.
    • The story is solid.
    • The story is weak, but passable- the preview videos of developers talking so much about they were doing so much with the Brutes and integrating them into the story turned out to be so much smoke and mirrors
    • ok first off the game was good story sucked but game was good
    • I love the story, although it seems really short, but I'll get to that in a minute.
    • it is simply halo or as they say the mighty halo mybe the best game ever with great story and an even better online mode you dont need to think to get this one just buy it
    • The game over all is an alright game, Graphic wise its lovely, Story is brilliant, I recommend this game to all those run and gunners out there as there is no tactics involved what so ever
    • The campaign for it has a horrible story line and is not much fun
    • I love the story, although it seems really short, but I'll get to that in a minute
    • If they were left out, the story would not have suffered.
    • BioShock has better graphics and a good story, but I don't think it is as fluid as BioShock as far as the controls go, with the multiplayer capabilities far beyond BioShock
    • I felt like just when the story was getting good the game ended
    • Great story
    • The story will be confusing to newcomers
    • The captivating story continues on and is better than ever
    • The story was hard to follow and the ending didn't really even make sense to me
    • (Other games need to learn from bungie on this)Lots of replay value, wonderful story and top notch cut scenes
    • Just thought one or two people might find my story of my experience with the Halo series to be helpful from a review stand-point if looking to buy
    • Vast improvement from Halo 2, which I was thoroughly disappointed with due to the split story line.
    • Much akin to the previous installments, Halo 3 offers an excellent story, and an enjoyable single player experience.
    • the right analog stick is universal) the story was rather fascinating the masterchief is a pretty amazing character it adds to him that you never see his face making him almost like a good darth vader
    • This game blew me away many times with its awesome story, characters, the multiplayer , and master chief is back better than ever to kick the floods and covenants asses!
    • Story wasn't too good, ending left me kinda confused & kinda
    • Great action, solid story, pretty graphics, enthusiastic and creative community (well, there are of course some jerks mixed in), etc
    • Halo 2 had a good story as well, but most of all a great script and great voice acting.
    • Some people are kinda stuck up about how H:R and H4 are better
