• Reviews around enemy (2.09 of 5)

    Halo Reach

    • Many reviewers out there really just bring the score down for minutely small details and flaws such as taking too many shots to kill enemies or comparing it to Modern Warfare 2.
    • You are a soldier, you kill the enemy.
    • I bet you only kill 3-4 enemy with all your ammo.- No scarabs.
    • Every once in a while you do find hiccups in the AI like an enemy trying to walk through things, or grenade sticking another enemy, but for the most part they are much smarter, and don't have the annoying human voices
    • The active camo allows someone to be invisible when still (invisible sniper D:), and causes the enemies near you to have their radar jammed
    • You get to blow away enemies while using the guns onboard rotary aircraft (Falcon, instead of a Blackhawk/Little Bird/AC130), make near-impossible jumps onboard said aircraft (ala CoD MW/MW2), use aircraft to destroy ground targets (piloting the Falcon, ala Cobra/Apache/Hind), and even pilot spacecraft (Sabre) to engage in space combat (uh... sorry, no CoD/MoH comparison here). Some of the complaints I have are related to the vehicle controls
    • The Covenant in Reach remain a powerful and mysterious enemy.
    • Note: that unlike Call of Duty: Modern Warfare this is a sci-fi First Person Shooter and as such your guns must first break an enemy's energy shield before you can really hurt them also everyone is wearing battle armor so you'll still need lots of shots to kill an opponent
    • The single player difficulty is pushed mostly by limited ammo drops and mega bullet resistant enemies, but everything is so wide open, you can just run away most of the time your shields get red.
    • The enemies are harder to kill and you die faster
    • The regulars die lickity split and the Spartans seem to take out only the weak enemy and spend the rest of the time taunting the ones that are left
    • On Easy Mode or Normal Mode, you can run through the Campaign jumping over vehicles and smashing enemies in the face with the butt of your pistol, and taking down groups of aliens with your Assault Rifle.
    • The enemies are much smarter than the normal halo we are used to and that adds to the excitement
    • Sure, the settings menu can be almost endless and confusing, but after a day or two you will have found that you can easily navigate the settings menu and with a few clicks you could have the enemies blind, deaf, weak, and worth a lot of points, or you'll be able to have yourself strong, fast, eagle eyed, and invincible
    • This game (4th in the series) once again keeps the HALO series apart from other shooters with its colorful environments and enemies
    • I mean they might require you to kill 150 enemies with headshots in Campaign or get 250 kills in Firefight
    • If you are facing really tough enemies, the weaker enemies usually carry the best weapon to use against them.
    • I am often spawned two feet from an enemy, or an enemy is spawned next the opponent I am in a gunfight with
    • * armor abilities are very helful, they trick enemies or back you up :)there isnt much bad things.maps
    • Active camouflage renders you mostly invisible and scrambles enemy radar (as well as your own) for stealth maniacs.
    • Fortunately, the enemy A.I., especially the Elites, are absolutely nightmarish to deal with on heroic/legendary.
    • The enemies are harder to kill and you die faster
    • Great graphics, nice new weapons and good enemies
    • It was pretty interesting that some of the tough enemies could dual
    • I tried playing on Normal mode at first but found it too easy with enemies behaving like dumbed-down drones
    • Firefight, if you're not familliar with it, is Halo's survival mode, where you are placed in a single map and are tasked with fighting wave after wave of increasingly difficult enemies in an effort to rack up a high score.
    • evading.-Hologram, Makes a hologram of yourself and it runs straight and doesn't make an effort to dodge stuff, but used correctly it can fool your enemy.
    • The closest you get to "AI" in the game is if you put gun sights on some of the more difficult enemies - they'll move.
    • If you are facing really tough enemies, the weaker enemies usually carry the best weapon to use against them.
    • On the other hand, enemy AI have improved drastically
    • your Enemy the voting system that they have now is much more improved then the last one it feels like a hole new game a must buy if your a halo fan especially if you like the multiplayer.
    • You may have a powerful shield around you, and when it goes away it explodes leaving some enemies dead, it will also disable you from moving while it is activated
    • The game storyline is a mute point (we know the planet falls from the other earlier games), but the connection given to the rise of everyone's favorite enemy and the chance to fight as a member of a Spartan team makes for awesome gameplay
    • On the harder difficulty levels, the Elite Enemy Troops become more powerful, aggressive, and dodge grenades, forcing you to use tactics and improve your aim
    • They deal with killing enemies, or performing objectives on the map.
    • The campaign in this game is one of the best, with great level design, a good storyline, and difficult enemies, especially on harder difficulties.
    • (There are no official commands you can give to the AI Covenant other than leading the enemy to the crowd)3
    • The thing to do here is make your shots count more so you will need to do overall less of them to an opponent; example use energy type guns to break an enemy's energy shield and always try to do head shots to your enemy for extra damage
    • The changes in gameplay are pretty standard, new button layouts, changes to existing weapons and additional weapons, as well as smarter, tougher AI enemies
    • One of the coolest (albeit smaller) additions to gameplay is the option to assassinate your enemy when you approach him from behind.
    • The Elites are not superfriends, but are a vicious enemy
    • Take campaign for example, you can play against the dreadful enemy, the Covenant, as you race against time in a planet-to-space battle to save humanity
    • My favorite is the active camo ability because it makes it easier to sneak around and attack enemies from behind which is a really fun thing to do as well
    • Your allies AI arn't as smart as enemy AI though which can get annoying I found myself in a warthog beeping the horn trying to get them to get
    • The campaign in this game is one of the best, with great level design, a good storyline, and difficult enemies, especially on harder difficulties.
    • I like the fact you can customize your loadouts, scenarios, enemy combatants, number of assault waves and gameplay down to the nitty gritty before starting a scenario
    • The enemies are better, faster.
    • Overall, traditional Halo gameplay with some obvious new gameplay elements as well as more wide-open environments and more enemies on screen at once
