Reviews around condition (4.74 of 5)

  • The game is I'm excellent condition, but I'm not a fan of it
  • Received the product in good condition and the game works fine.
  • Great condition of the game itself with no scratches or anything missing
  • The shipping was swift and the game was in great condition.
  • The active camo allows someone to be invisible when still (invisible sniper D:), and causes the enemies near you to have their radar jammed

Reviews around warfare (4.74 of 5)

  • The game play has diverted slightly from the original Halo Trilogy and feels at times like you are playing a sci-fi version of Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare
  • He first played Halo 3 when he got it last year for christmas and loved it, but then he got Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Halo took a back seat to his most favorite of all time Call of Duty MW2.
  • You'd probably say thats just as stupid as if they scraped half of all the weapons and replaced them with strange similar counterparts and then changed the function of all the other weapons they didn't scrap
  • This game veers way off the beaten path of Halo and blurs the lines between Halo and Modern Warfare
  • but if you are a die hard call of duty modern warfare fan this game might not be for you.

Reviews around multiplayer (4.30 of 5)

  • I recently purchased a copy of Halo: Reach during an Xbox Live Free Gold Weekend to try out the multiplayer for the first time and fell in love with it.
  • The campaign was fun but the multiplayer and firefight are the best
  • This game has a great story, great multiplayer, great firefight, and great forge
  • The Story is an overall a combat story going from mission to mission with nothing really tying into the overall Halo lore until the last chapter.- Intense multiplayer action online through Xbox Live with matches as small as one on one and as big as 16 players (and even offline without using Xbox Live using either spilt screen, or system link)
  • And wow, this blows away every other online multiplayer I've had (including the Modern Warfare games)

Reviews around campaign (4.21 of 5)

  • The campaign is crazy, chaninging you from lone wolf to team player back and forth
  • The campaign is spectacular and the multiplayer is just epic
  • No 4 player split screen in Big Team Battle, the Campaign, or Firefight
  • The campaign is very story based, but loses no intensity during co-op
  • The campaign was entertaining but not as fun as the multiplayer

Reviews around graphic (4.16 of 5)

  • The graphics and scenes are beautiful though sometimes hard to appreciate with the fierce action that is so common
  • The graphics of multiplayer look terrible and Call of Duty style features seem to be shoe horned in
  • The graphics are so much better than Halo 3, and 3 was actually pretty decent
  • Just wanted to say the game is fun but the graphics are a complete joke.
  • The graphics on the enemies are better than Halo 3 and ODST

Reviews around play (4.09 of 5)

  • story really did not appeal to much to me while playing and it's ending was a little bland, compared to how other Halo games have ended.
  • The multiplayer on Halo Reach is one of the best multiplayer games I've ever played.
  • I recommend playing this game before Halo Anniversary, as it is the prequel to the series.
  • the only downside to this game's online is it lags sometimes but only if your playing with someone who lives far away
  • Games like these used to offer you weeks of intense and immersive game play.

Reviews around addition (4.07 of 5)

  • The online is great, the addition of "Classes" is awesome in my opinon, though some will surely disagree
  • The addition of Forge Editing 2.0 is ground breaking, but can be seen as a double edged sword
  • The active camo allows someone to be invisible when still (invisible sniper D:), and causes the enemies near you to have their radar jammed

Reviews around gameplay (3.98 of 5)

  • It feels to me like they just wanted to slow the gameplay of an already slow game down even more
  • The graphics were very detailed and the gameplay never gets boring
  • The characters are interesting, the skyboxes are awesome, and the gameplay is, well, Halo gameplay.
  • Great game, the graphics are good, the music too, and the gameplay is awesome, i recommend to everybody, buy this game !!!
  • Sure the engine is brand new and graphics are great, but gameplay is just flat out boring and uninteresting

Reviews around experience (3.95 of 5)

  • and it's one of the best multiplayer experiences for those that like the halo multiplayer experience.
  • Cheap predictable story line and game flow also hurt our experience
  • I got the bundle with the 360 and Reach, and I love it, it is my first 360 experience and so far it blows my PS3 away.
  • In addition to a great campaign experience, the multiplayer is done excellently
  • I can't really blame the game makers for this, its just something to be aware of that could negatively impact your online experience.

Reviews around mode (3.95 of 5)

  • With a decent campaign (the fact that you don't get to play as Master Chief is a bummer) and addictive multiplayer (especially Living Dead gametype) this game will keep you hooked.--------------------------------Pros: Addictive Multiplayer, Improved Firefight and Forge mode, New weapons such as the Concussion Rifle are fun to use
  • but, one player may play this mode alone, like multiplayer, you can play by yourself
  • This benefits both the people that love and hate that game mode simultaneously
  • Multiplayer: 10/10: Exactly like the old school Halos, but with some cool additions, like powers, like running, or defensive mode, and upgrading armor as you get better.
  • There is a survival mode, many objective modes, and regular death-match modes too

Reviews around halo (3.84 of 5)

  • For me Reach is by far the greatest Halo game ever made
  • If you love HALO, you owe it to yourself to buy this game
  • A really fun game, with one of the best Halo campaigns.
  • I hadn't played Halo 3 in months because I was bored with it
  • Halo 3 got boring after 2 months and Halo Reach is just flat out pathetic

Reviews around team (3.81 of 5)

  • If you like getting stuck in games where your team is getting chrushed so bad you cant even
  • Halo Reach is timed before Halo 1 and features "Noble Team" a squad second only to the Spartans
  • split-screen Big Team Battle was what I'd do 90% of the time I've ever played Halo
  • Throughout the story the members of Noble Team are killed
  • Reach has you playing as the generic Noble 6 who is part of other numbered Noble team members

Reviews around story (3.65 of 5)

  • Couldn't give a damn about Halo Solo and the stupid story anymore.
  • Campaign was also pretty well done, it is a darker Halo game, but great story and an ending to remember!
  • The game has good story, excellent gameplay, fantastic multiplayer, great graphics
  • the only good part of the game is the campaign which is fun and has a good story
  • If you were pinning for a new HALO 3 with new Graphics and a bad story

Reviews around ass (2.69 of 5)

  • The maps incorporate campaign settings making them just more natural, as well as bringing back old classics like ivory tower and ascension
  • Nothing ground breaking but lots of fun solo as well as with friends.
  • But I've never played a Halo game that was as fresh, innovative, and interesting as the very first one
  • I have played Halo and Halo 2 on the PC as well as on the Xbox/Xbox 360
  • You'd probably say thats just as stupid as if they scraped half of all the weapons and replaced them with strange similar counterparts and then changed the function of all the other weapons they didn't scrap

Reviews around rate issue (2.54 of 5)

  • The game also suffers from significant frame rate issues which are unacceptable on a AAA title.
  • However, I think the added on screen enemies is causing some frame rate issues
  • New weapons, vehicles, and armor abilities have been added (although duel wielding has been removed), but the core gameplay is still as sharp as when the first Halo wowed the world.
  • I have played Halo and Halo 2 on the PC as well as on the Xbox/Xbox 360
  • also see what Reach is like before and during the Covenant invasion and u and your team of spartans are the only thing standing in there way for Cortana

Reviews around guy (2.35 of 5)

  • (Noble 6, though I was playing through with my brother, so we jokingly called my guy "6.5"), and I did like George, but I found the other members of Noble team to be annoying (especially Kat).
  • Also I miss the dual wielding of weapons, the bad guys can do it, but the player can't
  • The good guys are clearly good, and the bad guys clearly bad
  • The weapons improved, the covenant detailed along with the UNSC (The good guys that fight the aliens, which are called the Covenant.), and the flight path in which the grenades follow all make it look more real, thus improving the graphics which could only lead to the settings which need to be customizable for it to be even more detailed
  • The good guys are clearly good, and the bad guys clearly bad

Reviews around covenant (2.22 of 5)

  • The Covenant in Reach remain a powerful and mysterious enemy.
  • and you just kind of go from point A to point B in each level and kill covenant
  • The story itself is about how Noble is fighting the Covenant on
  • there's no way to save Reach and the Covenant truly is overwhelming as well as unstoppable
  • A wide area of gameplay, numerous vehicles and weapons to use and being one of the earlier events regarding the warbetween the the Covenant and the UNSC, how each side functioned.

Reviews around bite (2.15 of 5)

  • Though a bit short on normal level, the difficulty is much more even without the rediculous spikes that Halo 3 had, and skulls and legendary difficulty can put you in the 20 - 25 hour range for a single playthrough
  • I spent a good bit of one level just cowering behind a rock waiting for my computer-controlled teammates to kill off the aliens because I was out of ammo and had no idea how to get more.
  • The game is a little bit more open than Halo 2 or 3, about the same as Halo 1.My only real complaint, personally, is that many of my favorite things were only done once
  • The multiplayer is good too, quite a bit of variety but nothing that really blew my socks off
  • I felt like any bit of emotion they were trying to get from me was forced

Reviews around enemy (2.09 of 5)

  • The Elites are not superfriends, but are a vicious enemy
  • They deal with killing enemies, or performing objectives on the map.
  • My favorite is the active camo ability because it makes it easier to sneak around and attack enemies from behind which is a really fun thing to do as well
  • I mean they might require you to kill 150 enemies with headshots in Campaign or get 250 kills in Firefight
  • This game (4th in the series) once again keeps the HALO series apart from other shooters with its colorful environments and enemies

Reviews around interest (1.95 of 5)

  • course.(some good games R beyond me)I highly recommend Halo Reach!
  • For whatever reason, I just seemed to lose interest in this series over the years, along with the FPS genre (which I am not blaming the game for this, so don't start ranting).
  • It was pretty interesting that some of the tough enemies could dual
  • The fact that you are a member of a squad alone was enough to pique my interest
  • Reach, I was disappointed with Halo 3 and stayed away from the franchise for a while, but it has great graphics and a fairly interesting story and the multiplayer is very enjoyable.

Reviews around shot (1.69 of 5)

  • It takes too many damn shots to kill someone with and many times both opponents will die when the 5th shot comes around
  • Brutes were quite similar to brutes from Halo 3, except that they lack brute shots and could rampage/assassinate you
  • I like how you get shields so that you don't die from only a couple shots, and accordingly it takes multiple shots to kill other players
  • Many reviewers out there really just bring the score down for minutely small details and flaws such as taking too many shots to kill enemies or comparing it to Modern Warfare 2.
  • I hate how in Halo 3 you had to lead your Br shots

Reviews around screen (1.26 of 5)

  • The best part about it is that I can play it with my son with split screen abilities.
  • It definitely makes you want to play with your friends on split screen more so than any other Halo game since the original
  • Campaign mode can be played by 4 players if you do it online or split screen with player 2 if you go offline
  • In sum, I believe this game to be a boring mishmash of past Halo games, bringing nothing new to the table except for a beautiful screen product.
  • course.(some good games R beyond me)I highly recommend Halo Reach!

Reviews around wolf (1.00 of 5)

  • One new concept is teamwork, where in previous Halo games Master Chief was a lone wolf hero, in Halo: Reach you play as Noble 6, the sixth and newest member to Noble Team, an elite team of Spartan super soldiers whose job it is to protect planet Reach.
  • They blend the competitive game modes of Halo 3 with the Co-op genius of ODST's Firefight to strike the perfect blend of team-based, and lone wolf multi-player goodness
  • The campaign is crazy, chaninging you from lone wolf to team player back and forth
  • Whether you like playing with friends like me or you're more of a lone wolf, Halo
  • you see some familiar faces for the "first time " like cortana..where you have to protect and deliver safely to capt keys of the pillar of autumn ( from the first halo) as well as dr halsey...and last but not least a brief glimpse of a new spartan named john117(you know who that is ) the last mission after the game credits end is called "lone wolf" where Noble six has to fight off the covenat forces alone on reach..basically a last stand..it adds to the tone of the game
