Reviews around gameplay (5.00 of 5)

  • Borderlands, with the great graphics, gameplay and fun storyline, should have been a slam dunk in anyone's game book
  • The DLC that comes with this will be installed on your HDD and that (gameplay) is great also
  • The writing is hilarious, the art is unique and cool, and the gameplay is just good, clean fun

Reviews around shooter (4.61 of 5)

  • while I wish it had more rpg options (Fall Out fan), it's fun and worth picking up if you like first-person shooters with some minor role playing stuff included.
  • If you like first-person shooters and you like role-playing games then you'll like this game
  • I absolutely adore shooters like the Halo franchise and the Gears of War franchise, and I was very unsure about becoming involved in a game that appeared to be very wide open and lengthy.
  • Overall, if you like first person shooters and RPGs, I would recommend this because the GOTY gives you a good value for your money.9/10
  • I was skeptical about playing Borderlands because I have always been into good rpg's like Oblivion and into good shooters like Halo or Call of Duty

Reviews around deal (4.61 of 5)

  • I actually bought this game through best buy at an incredible deal of just 10 bucks
  • I won't talk much about the game itself, as you can get that information elsewhere, but this is a great deal for a great game.
  • and i really enjoy 1/2 the dlc content that comes with it its still a great deal
  • The biggest issue about THIS specific copy though is the fact that DLC disks is one of the worst things I've ever dealt with
  • With the DLC its a great deal, then add in the fact that you can not stop playing the bloody thing and it is a no brainer.

Reviews around price (4.56 of 5)

  • Great game and price, only downside was I did not understand that my Xbox only has flash memory and the game requires you to have purchased the HDD for Xbox S in order to use the DLC bundled with the game.
  • Ended up "upgrading" to the GOTY edition to get it at a great price during a sale and all the DLC included
  • If you haven't played it, I strongly urge you to get the GOTY Edition so you can experience all this game has to offer at a great price.
  • great buy & seriously great game, fantastic price, great for any gamer out there.
  • This is a great game with all downloadable content included at a great price

Reviews around rpg (4.53 of 5)

  • I gave it 5 cuz its an amazing game i would recommend it to people looking for a really good RPG and
  • Its wacky, its colorful - it has pretty sweet RPG elements, and oh yeah, its got some serious LOOT
  • and I normally hate RPG's
  • IT mixs good RPG with first-person shooter to bring something new to the table
  • one of the best rpg and adventure games everplayed i cant wait for the second installment

Reviews around op (4.51 of 5)

  • This game is also a great co-op game if your looking to play with friends
  • While the game does have a few drawbacks, I'm still giving it 5 stars based solely on the fact that Borderlands is a hell of a lot of fun to play, and (in my opinion) the best co-op game out there.
  • This game supports 4 person Co-op, so play with a buddy or if you are a loner, like me, it'll play just fine solo
  • This game was really fun, hundreds of hours of gameplay, endless fun, really fun co-op, and amazing price for the whole bundle!
  • The single player is really fun and enjoyable, but co-op is where this game really shines.

Reviews around fun (4.37 of 5)

  • Sure it has online, but the community has all but vanished and those that remain are the infamous hackers that have been ruining others fun
  • I just had enough fun beating it once, but would rather play something else now
  • The DLC is crazy fun, and raises your level cap, so you can play more
  • You can play through it by yourself and it still is great fun
  • Cooperating with your friends is great fun as everything becomes a bit more challenging.

Reviews around way (3.86 of 5)

  • Plenty of ammo and weapons to choose from, and some thoughtful ways to achieve missions
  • WAY entertained through all 4 character playthroughs that I plan on doing
  • Loads of different weapons and items to find, lots of NPCs to interact with (and most are pretty dang funny!), and plenty of enemies to kill in all sorts of creative ways
  • This game is a great way to see how well RPG FPS games are doing
  • The world is massive, there are countless side quests to conquer, and somehow I never tire of trying to come up with newer more hilarious ways to dispatch bandits

Reviews around borderlands (3.77 of 5)

  • Borderlands 2 came out about a month ago and has even improved upon this
  • Borderlands is awesome, but dont trust this site for the add-on tokens just buy a GOTY addition from gamestop or walmart if you can find one.
  • Borderlands is a fun and addictive game with some issues holding it back
  • Let me start by saying I enjoyed Borderlands when it first came out.
  • Borderlands is one of those games that has so much going for it, but falls short of greatness because of some stupid, needless issues.

Reviews around dlc (3.75 of 5)

  • DLC-Related at all, the game is freaking awesome though 5/5, didn't like that the game didn't come with DLC :(
  • This package is great because it include all the DLC available for this game and is just the beginning in a fantastic series
  • Hell, they even sell the DLC individually from the game at times like with the GTA IV content

Reviews around weapon (3.72 of 5)

  • Yes, you'll improve your gear and weapons and fight bigger, badder monsters
  • And with your current character you'll definitely want to play through several times until you hit the level cap (69 get this version and downloaded the DLC), to max out your skills, and get better weapons
  • Once you start finding more and more weapons and leveling up, your favorite weapon will become more and more useless until you pick
  • And with your current character you'll definitely want to play through several times until you hit the level cap (69 get this version and downloaded the DLC), to max out your skills, and get better weapons
  • I didn't enjoy the experience being a recent cardiac patient that went thru open heart surgery and therapy and the skags and enemies lurching and attacking became startling at times and didn't know if it was safe to continue on especially in the beginning when the weapons are weak and you have no idea of what your

Reviews around clap trap (1.54 of 5)

  • , AI was not as good as in sequels.
  • , AI was not as good as in sequels.

  • My initial impression was that the game sucked -- not because of game play or storyline, but because I was one of the few where Clap Trap wouldn't trigger an event in the very beginning

Reviews around guy (1.54 of 5)

  • The missions can get repetitive (How many times and ways can you shoot bad guys?
  • Quests are often redundant - go fetch 6 cans of this, or go here and kill 25 bad guys
  • Nothing like killing guys together!
  • But by then you have out leveled all the bad guys (save a boss or two) and are just wrapping up the quest lines or hunting achievements/trophies

Reviews around drive (1.00 of 5)

  • The DLC came on a separate disc, and you pop it in then download it to your hard drive, then you have more to do
  • turns out that you need 4.5 gb on your xbox hard drive to install it
  • DLC download won't work unless you have a hard drive to download it to
  • You cannot install the Expansion Pack without a larger Hard Drive, something I didn't know when I bought it
  • The bonus map packs will NOT install on your hard drive

Reviews around moxxi (1.00 of 5)

  • I played through the entire game and each of the add-ons except for Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot
  • While Mad Moxxi's Underdome is arena combat and may not be appealing to everyone, the other three additions are significant additions, each adding another 5-10 hours of fun and exploration to the game
  • Just like the add-on disc for zombie island/mad moxxi, except with all 4 DLC add-ons.(1) zombie island(2) mad moxxi(3) general knoxx(4) clap trap revolutionThank you amazon and gearbox/2k games!
  • Especially Mad Moxxi's Underdome, which gives you a free weapon's bank where you can store your extra gear.

Reviews around disc (1.00 of 5)

  • I had it already, but my dog knocked over my xbox and ruined the disc.
  • I enjoyed this game though my disc came damaged and had to send it back, I played for two days when I had it
  • Amazing game, but three stars for the faulty bonus disc
  • I was all excited about this until I seen it was for "DLC vouchers" and not a physical disc- bogus

Reviews around chunk (1.00 of 5)

  • When you die, you lose a huge chunk of you money, I didn't even keep track of it as it really didn't factor into the game
  • It is very lowbrow and violent though so if you are easily offended by toilet humor and foul language and get sick when enemies chunk you may not like the game
