That's the base game: a well-written, dialogue heavy, well-executed post-apocalyptic RPG that might never be truly appreciated for the freedom and immersion that it extravagantly imparts to its players
New Vegas is a great entry in the Fallout series and a great RPG in general
Great game if you love RPG's or the Fallout series in general
good game shipped in good condition and everything works its fun to play and a great rpg and the dlc is good
Perfect condition great rpg gift at a great price for all the dlc
That being said, this game is not without its flaws, bad animations, buggy at Launch, gameplay can be stake at times and the game can be downright ugly
A wonderful game, and as great as it's predecessor, Fallout 3
Some decent loot in this mission, hours of difficult gameplay, and lots of shooting.-Dead MoneyI played this DLC mission last, which is good, because I absolutely hated
Great gameplay and endless hours of exploring and digging through dungeons
Imho the gameplay is better in this game than Fallout 3 but the open world of Fallout 3 was more expansive
The game is more eccentric and lively with a more colorful world with colorful characters
If you're looking for an amazing open world to explore, definitely give Fallout New Vegas a look.
You're a person in the post-apocalyptic world and you are seeking revenge, along the way you encounter animals, mutants, factions, and you have a choice to either be good or bad
Imho the gameplay is better in this game than Fallout 3 but the open world of Fallout 3 was more expansive
Definitely one of the best open world games available today
Great gameplay and endless hours of exploring and digging through dungeons
You can sink hours into this game with multiple different characters and play styles.
I lost even more hours promising myself that the hill that I was cresting in pursuit of the unknown was the last one for the day, knowing that I had to know what was beyond the next hill
I lost even more hours promising myself that the hill that I was cresting in pursuit of the unknown was the last one for the day, knowing that I had to know what was beyond the next hill
This is a great game, hours of fun, and a must for fans of any of the other Fallout titles or RPGs in general.
I've played through most of the DLC, and am now working on the last module (Lonesome Road).
A wonderful game, and as great as it's predecessor, Fallout 3
Old World Blues and Lonesome Road are too good to pass up
With the Ultimate Edition you get all the expansion packs too (Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road plus Gun Runners Arsenal and Couriers Stash
Game crashes (due to corrupted saves?) are an issue however (even with autosave disabled)
The lockups seem to have been fixed by the GOTY release, and the corrupted saves really just meant I got to play it even more, which may have ticked me off at the time, but it was going to happen anyway :
Random lockups, corrupted saves and general inconsistency plagued the release of this game
A wonderful game, and as great as it's predecessor, Fallout 3
There's 100 save slots available so again not a big deal.4-5 loading
It was a lot of fun to check out the post-apocalyptic version of Las Vegas
This version is as glitch free as any game I've ever played (and I've played a lot of games - I also played the original version of this game on day one - the version that included the infamous "getting locked out of the Strip glitch" - a truly inexcusable bug to be sure)
Because its Fallout in the wild west, and because its a much, much more mature version that Fallout 3
My son didn't like this version as much as he did the first Fallout game.
Would recommend PC version so you can find mods to fix those glitches, but still great game.
I experienced everything from game freezes, to getting stuck in walls, to the game
It's ABSOLUTELY mandatory that you save very frequently or you run the risk of losing progress due to games freezes, crashes and glitches marring that mar your experience
Every single time I played this game, I experienced some sort of game halting glitch, whether it be the game freezing, an endless loading screen, or falling through the ground
A wonderful game, and as great as it's predecessor, Fallout 3
I had just finished bartering with a merchant and the game froze
Disliked: Game would freeze every few hours, a few glitches and bugs here and there, can't continue the game after completing the final mission, essentially the same type of game as Fallout 3 (which is only bad if you didn't like Fallout 3), dreadfully long load screens
This version is as glitch free as any game I've ever played (and I've played a lot of games - I also played the original version of this game on day one - the version that included the infamous "getting locked out of the Strip glitch" - a truly inexcusable bug to be sure)
Why would I enter it again and risk the same bug after so many hours of
In conclusion, I would rate the main game 3 out of 5 stars due to the occasional freezing and odd bugs
Hated it at first because I couldnt kill anything and a bug and a big fly would quickly kill me
It was cheaper to buy the game then pay to get the DLC after I lost my hard drive.
I have an external hard drive with USB 3.0 and the load speeds are dramatically improved
I vaguely remember playing Fallout 3 from the disc and having lots of lockups but installing to the hard drive seems to stop almost all of them.3
In order to provide the least amount of frustration with this issue I would recommend installing this game on your Xbox 360 hard drive and saving frequently
ALL they did with the Ultimate Edition is use the same exact disc from the original release, plus a second disc with all of the DLC that you have to load onto your hard drive.
The end battle is epic, in fact I never legitimately beat it - a bug of some sort launched the main bad guy up in to the air right when the fighting started on my 8th or 9th attempt to kill him, and he 'kersplatted' when he hit the ground
The most prominant bad guys will literally absorb 20 or so shots before they die, which gets old
The world is not as big as fallout 3 but new Vegas does bring some new fun things to it like choosing to work with bad guys and wearing their armor to fit in however opposing factions will attack you if you wear the wrong armor near them
Running around fulfilling tasks and shooting bad guys and nasty critters.
Ether there systems are broken or they have bad luck and the guy that
