I think that CoD 2 was a great sequel with better graphics and a nice change up in engagements (I really liked the Pointe du Hoc mission... very intense, even moreso after you ascend the cliff).CoD mastered the sound of warfare.
The game, for all it's incredible sounds and graphics is incredibly poorly made
The sound is amazing, particularly on a surround sound equipped TV.
One last note... this game, with it's realistic graphics and sound, is so immersive that it becomes a very intense experience
It has superior graphics, superior sound, and the game is exceptionally smooth.
Who ever is first on the list of an online game is the server, even if they are a slow connection, so you can expect some major lag time, jumpy graphics, and even disconnects.
Let me start off by saying that I am very impressed with this game on many accounts:The graphics are absolutely stunning
First of all, this game has great graphics, gameplay, etc, everything about the game play is perfect
When you think next gen you think flashy graphics and stellar gameplay when look no futher though we've just entered the age of not bitching about how bad the graphics are now it just about the story and how the developers put there creation in effect well with all that this is the first game i've gotten the 360 i
great game with good graphics a lot of work was put into
It is a great single player game, but only for about 3 days
Its very easy to get into the game and feel like you are able to do exactly what you want, when you want - a definite necessity for a great FPS.The only area this game disappoints in is the multi-player, which has become a buggy, lag-filled mess.
Ever since I've been introduced to this experience of 'multiplayer', I have pretty much neglected single player in all games like a deformed foster child with epilepsy
A four player death match going in your living room will have you looking at the clock wondering how it's
the single player is great i would reccomend this to anyone with an xbox 360
What is also stupid is the fact that the controls for the tank that u control is horrible
The battles were intense, the scenery and graphics were top notch (at the time), the controls were smooth, intuitive, and easy.
Great controls that are very easy to use, yet effective
Anyone who has played any of the other games in the franchise should already know this game's incredibly easy control layout, giving your soldier the ability to chose from three types of stances, aim down the sights of your rifle, throw grenades, and swap weapons with ease
The control -- with great help from the consistent framerate -- is good
Veteran play is ridiculous and by far the hardest thing I have ever done
This is one of the best sounding games I've ever played
Let me just say off the bat that as many know, the first many months of the game's existence the online play would become unplayable when a certain amount of people clogged a server
Call Of Duty 2 simply has the best single player I've ever played in any shooting game; maybe ever
anyway, CALL OF DUTY 2 is one of the best games ive ever played, and i only played one out of like 30 levels
From the beginning campaign in the dead of Russian winter to the final climatic scenes storming German fortified positions in France, you'll die many times and watch those around you dying too
However, i played it a second time, and the enemy split up, and took me out MANY TIMES
Not to easy, not to hard, you will die a few times but nothing that will having you throwing your controller to the wall, and even if that does happen theres always easy (which is
I had a great time playing the campaign mode of this game, which was extremely satisfying--not too impossible like some games, but challenging enough to require quite a few reloads
Now i'm not saying there will be thousands upon thousands online playing , but there is enough to find a match and have a good time..............................................................................................
One of my other friends actually DID fall asleep!I found this game to be utterly slow and relatively safe in terms of what it can do--this is not a good thing.
This is the best game for 360 yet I love the graphics and my favorite thing is that you dont have to save all the time
Veteran play is ridiculous and by far the hardest thing I have ever done
Nevertheless, the fighting, missions, and chaotic action in CoD 2 remains strictly loyal to that of CoD and its expansions, which is a very good thing, believe me
One thing I hate about FPS campaign modes is when you clear an area but have no idea where to go next... this never happens
Both the single and multi-player portions are well done (the multi-player game originally suffered from horrendous lag and connection problems, but Infinity Ward's patch sorted those problems out)
For every 5 games played 3 have significant lag and loading problems
The cod2 lobby is a joke, you can't pick your own maps, can't have friends only play, and the lag is terrible
Ducking and using cover is an important element of the game, as well as being aware of grenades that the Jerry's toss at you.
It's sad as there are times the gameplay is quite good (no lag
but in my opinion inconsequential -- semi-lack of detail in textures), and you've got a gaming universe that is good to go for even the most demanding lowlife
but I must say the lack of the ability to have a private game and excessive lag on multiplayer is a complete waste of what otherwise would be a great game.
Its not ground breaking and the lack of vehicles is kind of crappy... but no big deal
Call of Duty 2 certainly isn't as good as
Ducking and using cover is an important element of the game, as well as being aware of grenades that the Jerry's toss at you.
I cannot tell you how many times I've had three bot teammates in front of me and the enemy runs right past them (without my guys firing a shot) and kills me
I mean if an enemy shoots a shot at your head you will hear it wizz buy and hit the building
Its Almost impossible to miss a shot!

Firefights as you stumble through smoke and strain to determine whether the shadow ahead of you is friend or foe are both bewildering and incredibly rewarding, and it's something all gamers should try out at least once
After the round you are stuck trying to find another game with no lag (about 1 in 3 have no lag) then invite your friends in (if there is room) only to have the room close down again after the round
(divinely) mind boggling about being able to link up different machines (at that time computers) and not only participate, but kill your friends, with ultra cool weapons and the like, in -- literally -- a universe outside our own
The explosions, gunfire, screaming from mortally wounded friends and foes, chaotic commands being shouted by soldiers in a state of panic.
