I think they did a good job with this new installment of gears of war
Gears of War 2 and 3 did a good job introducing and improving this popular game type and now is completely stripped away and replaced with Survivor which sort of like horde but with a class system (which is pretty cool
Judgement actually does a much better job telling a story then previous Gears.
People Can Fly did a bad job with their first GOW game
As a prequel, it does a pretty good job of not surpassing the first three releases.
The gears of war series has always been a hard series to get into
I'm sorry, I have been against this series from the start, however, the things and elements they added to this game, its a breath of fresh air for an old suffocated series
i love the series and was so disappointed with this one
Let me preface this by saying Gears of War is my favorite action series by a long shot
i like it! if you come from a hardcore Gears of War fan, you might be disappointed with some changes to the series (Me too, but, just a little) but, if your new the the series, this game is fun and
Excellent product worked well, really recommend is a good productoa an unbeatable price, I am happy for this purchase reallmente if needed would buy another product equal.
I'm never really sure how to review a product like a game, movie or music, since most of the reviews are usually meant to say if the product works as advertised etc
Sad what they have done to gears, one of the best multiplayers ever, not for kids like COD, not for the weak, u better know how to bounce, u better watch ur back, u better know how to PROPERLY use that shotgun, u better know how to hammerburst somebody down, dont melee, gears used to be an addiction, now its just a joke, a sad sad joke
But that's Microlimp for you; put out a great product and then follow up with something substandard
Great game but multiplayer was disappointing loved the campaign but multiplayer was worse than gears three instead of the traditional load outs u can only pick one primary weapon and a snub which leaves u at a disadvantage at times and not sure why they took
I'm going to sell this as fast as I can and go back to Gears 3
The Good: Fun and fast paced action, fun multiplayer modes
I honestly almost hated the game, but the action itself kept me hooked because it was faster paced than previous games and a bit more exciting
Judgement is a very fast paced game with action around every turn
They simply try to make this game like COD or Halo with dumb super fast pace multiplayer which is the exact opposite of what gears of wars multiplayer is
The addition of Survival and Overrun were good additions but plagued with their own problems.
Overall okay game, story is pretty good in the Campaign, graphics are pretty awesome, Declassified Missions are a nice addition, but multi-player really sucks and even if you are a good seasoned Gear, it gets boring seeing everyone Two-Piece all the time, and the vertical maps are ridiculous as there is very little fall damage, so a dude can jump down from about 60 feet above you, get no fall damage and blow you away with a Gnasher before you can possibly roll out of the way
it's a great addition, giving more replay value to the game
I was not thrilled with ANY of the games in this series, as you die in EVERY section played and the chainsaw bayonet fails practically EVERY time I tried to use it on an enemy ... in all 3 games
Great story and a great addition to the gears of war saga.
The single player is as good as any other Gears of War game
Even my friend who is a die hard Gears fan doesn't even like the
Like all franchises, Gears of War has changed over time
well Gears of War was my favorite game until this load of crap can out
If you're a die hard Gears of War player, and buy this game because you've played the previous ones, lemme tell you that this game is much more different
The only good thing I like of the game are classified missions.
Usually this isn't a bad thing, but when your character is as slow as this its a real pain to get anywhere.
It mostly in a rehash of all things Gears, which if you're familiar with the series, is a good thing
Unfortunately, it looks as if everyone has jumped on the COD franchise bandwagon, which to me is a very bad thing caused by bad experiences with games like this not offering an alternative
The way the game is designed feels very arcadey and focuses more on the action and scoring points rather than the plot which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you don't care too much for plot in the first place.
All in all, the campaign should satisfy gears fans and as for action lovers who want a bunch of uglys surrounding you with bullets going everywhere, you people will love this
If your a fan of The Gears of War series, defiantly worth getting while on sale.

Die hard Gears fan here, so this game's let down is hard to stomach
Even my friend who is a die hard Gears fan doesn't even like the
and I enjoyed just as much as Gears 1,2,3.(Amazon shipped it to me quick 5 stars for shipping)Pro's Good Single Player (opinion)Con's Removed a lot of favorite multiplayer modes.
Each time one is destroyed by the Locust, players are pushed back to the next one
But i loved the single player, the button scheme is a lot smoother than past games, but is this game overall better
Judgement is worth playing for its fun single-player campaign but with a surprisingly weak multiplayer outing the game offers very little replayability and as such is not worth paying full retail price for.
I'm going to sell this as fast as I can and go back to Gears 3
On the other hand, if you prefer cooperative game modes, like Horde and Beast mode from Gears of War 3, or playing story based campaigns alone, you probably won't like Judgment.
Judgment's campaign feels like a soul successor to Gears 1, and I really enjoy the touches People Can Fly have put into it with the stars a la their awesome and misunderstood Bulletstorm from a couple years back.
After playing Gears of War: Judgment, it felt like the scene from Planet of the Apes.
On the other hand, if you prefer cooperative game modes, like Horde and Beast mode from Gears of War 3, or playing story based campaigns alone, you probably won't like Judgment.
The biggest gap in GoW: Judgment is missing is Horde mode
Great game but multiplayer was disappointing loved the campaign but multiplayer was worse than gears three instead of the traditional load outs u can only pick one primary weapon and a snub which leaves u at a disadvantage at times and not sure why they took
I'm going to sell this as fast as I can and go back to Gears 3
I have been a Gears fan ever since the first edition and was really excited about this game until I played several rounds of Survival (hoard mode?).
Over run is what beast mode in 3 should've been except the other players control the COG, survival is horde, free for all is what it says, domination is KOH with 3 rings that stay in place no random rings around weapons, TDM is score based 1st team to 50 wins which takes the fast paced action out of the game, when you die you get spawned in random places all over the damn

and he's supposed to be feared and a bad ass and whatnot
I mean you won't see Baird act in a cocky manner nor hear his smart ass comments or sarcasm
I'm still dumbfounded as to what just happened with this game.

All in all, the campaign should satisfy gears fans and as for action lovers who want a bunch of uglys surrounding you with bullets going everywhere, you people will love this
People complain about this game because is really different from the others, but i think thats really te point of a game, you alredy have played gears saga... do you still want to play the same thing???
i dont know why people are bashing it just because its a different version of gears
When you take an epic franchise and let the scoring system overshadow the campaign, many people aren't going to like it
The people complaining that its short probably played it on normal
I'm sorry that so many people can't just sit back and enjoy a great game.

the gnasher on overrun is slower and you have to shoot 2 times to kill someone, and if you kill the tickers in front of you u dont get any damage
Another part that they screwed up with is with the power of the notorious Gnasher
I'm still dumbfounded as to what just happened with this game.
My biggest complaint with Judgement, and the reason I gave it 4 stars is the lack of content, maps, and modes at launch
The biggest frustration is the lack of the 4 weapon series staple, Where as you could have an Assault Rifle, Shotgun, Pistol, and Non-Lethal Grenade you may now only have one Non-Lethal Grenade, One pistol, and Either an Assault Rifle or Shotgun
However, this mode has several weaknesses, not the least of which is an egregious spike in difficulty from wave to wave, and as mentioned before, lack of on-disc content
probably the worst offence being the lack of characters, maps and modes to choose from
All in all, the campaign should satisfy gears fans and as for action lovers who want a bunch of uglys surrounding you with bullets going everywhere, you people will love this
Survival:Basically just a one team (COG only) version of Overrun
you are killed as a cog, and there isn't a medic around to revive you, or there actually may be one and they are just too dumb to revive you, it takes 12 seconds for you to respawn and get back to your post
the last round of Survival has no boss wave.----Overrun is "Cog Vs Locust PvP Beast-mode
I did not buy Gears judgment on Amazon but as I a devoted die hard COG, I feel it is my duty to warn fellow COGs and newbies of this garbage that microsoft let out
Paduk is really the only character I liked---and that's because HE doesn't like the COG, either
Where the original gears had a number of acts where each act had a number of chapters with multiple checkpoints per chapter, Judgement is so short and cut off that every single checkpoint is a chapter, and after you reach each the flow of the game is interrupted by the stars system
The campaign is abysmal, this whole star rating system just interrupts the flow of the game overall
Constantly interrupts flow of combat.- Horrible control scheme; have been re-mapped
The use of Classified Missions, although they break the flow of the game, help amp up the action
