It still makes a mess around my counter, but it’s natural dealing with coffee grinds

Well, this model is a vast improvement; much quieter even than when the previous model was new; the coffee grinds stay in the metal basket, which is removable for pouring the ground up coffee into the storage container

It even had old coffee grinds in it.

I discovered the problem: the track that the cover slides on got a coffee ground stuck in it near the locking mechanism

The stainless cup is easy to clean, the included/attached brush is great for clearing out the extra coffee grinds that stay in the cup.
