I have followed their instructions for getting a hotter cup of espresso and it makes no difference

I decided to get my own espresso maker because I was tired of ordering a $5 latte or cappuccino at Starbucks and feeling like all I was drinking a hot cup of milk

Last, you can't steam the milk while the coffee brews, so either the shot or the milk will always end up being the wrong temperature, and it is therefore impossible to actually brew a perfect cup of coffee with this machine

I wouldn't say that I'm a super big coffee connoisseur, but I do enjoy a great cup of coffee

We dont use and pre-warm cups by just running hot water through the machine with no portafilter basket

This makes an amazing cup of Americano, and better compared to Aeropress, and so much better compared to drip coffee

But then every single cup throughout the week that I used, the frother only boiled the milk and didn't froth

Oh and ive read that you should not leave this machine on, the top heating portion that should "keep your cup warm" will not heat up fast enough if the unit is off and you turn it on and make one or two drinks

This machine leaked all over the counter, the tray under the coffee carafe overflowed after initial clean & 2 cups of coffee.

This espresso maker is perfect for someone who appreciates a good cup of coffee and is not looking to spend a fortune.

I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to launch a science experiment first thing in the morning for a nice cup of espresso

I am looking for the best cup of coffee I can make, which means selecting the beans I like and grinding them fresh.

It works perfectly, but we tried everything to get a stronger cup of coffee from it - varying the coarseness of the grind, the length of time we let it brew, everything we could think of.

I have to use it on a towel, as the leak is about 1/4 to half a cup with every use

The only redeeming aspect is that it does brew a fair cup of espresso, with a nice foam head

Also buy a better espresso tamper and a frother cup makes a whole load of difference.
