Hamilton Beach Rice Cooker & Food Steamer, 16 Cups Cooked (8 Uncooked), With Steam & Rinse Basket, Black (37517)

    • With this cooker, it releases that excess liquid through steam evaporation, so that there is nothing left in the pot but perfectly cooked rice, if you remove it at the right elapsed time, which can be determined through your own experience in monitoring the rice near the end of the cook cycle to see when it is no longer crunchy, and has not started to "gum up".
    • I have a very difficult time trying to remove the white steamer from the pot as there are no handles and often times the vegetables are dumped in the water, as I’m attempting to take it out
    • The bottom layer gets over cooked unless you unplug it at some miraculous time.
    • 2nd time perfected it
    • Rice does not stick, is done every time, and really easy to clean.
    • I have not discovered what causes this to switch into the "warming" cycle automatically, since the cooker also recommends a wide variety cooking times (up to 54 minutes) for some varieties of rice, or other food items
    • It worked well first time I used it and the second time I used it
    • So, if you want PERFECT RICE, determine the ideal elapsed time for your ingredient, on your first cooking test and then set your timer for future meals, in order to take it out of the pot, right at the buzzer
    • Perfect rice every time.
    • This pot is huge and make the rice perfect every time no matter how much rice you want to cook!
