The Aura supports Airplay, wifi, bluetooth, DLNA - and the Aura Studio only supports bluetooth.

This is indeed the HK Aura Studio and not its big brother the Aura, which explains why its price is ~$200 less than the Aura proper..

I contacted HK support for asking how to prevent stranger pair my aura

H/K should probably take a close hard look at their app, but like I said, it is not necessary at all in order to enjoy the Aura

I cannot speak to whether the sound quality between the Aura Studio and the Aura proper are equivalent.

It is worth the money and a look-see for people who want to buy the authentic aura for a hefty discount.

Update: I ordered the refurbished version from Amazon for 260 dollars and finally received an authentic Aura (not the studio version)

The Aura is maddening

I was able to also get a new HK Esquire on closeout at the same store for 49.00 and its build quality is just as good as the Aura
