While the BMAX sounds great, I found that when using OD, fuzz or distortion the output of the BMAX would be too hot for power amps, leading to thermal shutdown

Some people don't like this head because you won't get an artificially buffed up sound like you get with many others, this is purely clean output, everything else is on your pedals, sometimes I even use it to amp the voices when rehearsing

The pros....this is very simplistic, loud and has plenty of output versatility (which I miss).
