good picture quality and brightness, but screen displayed a defective flashing patterns every couple of hours which took the whole screen up and interrupted my viewing so had to return.

The good: Nice picture quality, decent sound, light to carry

The picture has a good quality for the price however, like most current TV's speaker quality is low and the unit benefits significantly from a soundbar.

Hard to appreciate changing picture quality with half the screen obscured and sluggish

Other than these issues, the quality of the picture and sound is great.
