I absolutely love the xylophone and its very distinct crisp sounds!

The keys are metal and make the correct sound.

I got this for my nephew's first birthday and it is great quality, the xylophone has really good sound and the sizes are perfect for little hands

Most importantly, the sounds aren't obnoxious like so many other toys out there, so lots of play doesn't bother me at all

I think the grip and the bright bell sounds make a huge difference, as compared to Hohner's baby bell that's just too dull and not conducive to being held by a tiny hand: the bell is built to resemble a traditional bell handle, but a 6 mo old is much better at holding things that wrap around the hand
