Hohner M2009BX-C Harmonica, Key of C

    • Instead of buying this one, save some money, and get a better harp at the same time: buy a Suzuki Manji
    • It was still nicer and probably played better than 75% of OOB harps, but when examined with a straight reference it was clearly bowed down the entire middle -- once corrected - it might be the best harp I have
    • The bamboo is perfect, because the Marine Band I felt was a bit harsh on the lips (I know all pro's disagree with me, because the MB is a legendary harp!
    • Fast Response to play fastThe Crossover harp sounds Excellent being played very quietly with very little air
    • Nice well-made harp, but at $70 I'm not blown away
    • Nice well-made harp, but at $70 I'm not blown away
    • Harmonica M2009 A] is the finest harp I've played in 30 years of blues playing
    • This is a great harp
    • Special 20 is a very good Harp, Just Not as Good as the Crossover for me that is
    • Good loud sound but not warm enoughas blues harp.
    • Use the belt loop if you want to look like a dork, or just put the pouch in your pocket to protect the harp and your cell phone.
    • RECOMMENDED THIS HARP TO ANY HARMONICA PLAYER WITH STRICT REQUIREMENTS
    • Having played different Hohner harps like the Marine Band and the SP 20, as well as the Tombo 12 hole chromatic and enjoyed all I decided to give the Crossover a try
    • Also, this harp, in my opinion, is uncomfortable to hold
    • Again this is a very comfortable harp to play.
    • The harp played every note nice and clear and loud!!AMAZING
    • I was blown away how much harder I had to play the Suzuki, and the same thing with my custom built harps, I'm really sold on these Crossovers!Oh
    • And cheap harps don't get you where you need and want to go.
    • With the Crossover, I know that if I blow a custom reed during a gig, my backup harp will be almost as good.
    • Generally speaking, this is an easy harp to bend, except for the 3 bend.
    • If you need a harp in F, get the Seydel because I doubt any other harp would play as well in that high key.
    • This harp is worth the high price.
    • Nice harp
    • The Blues Harp in C is a great sounding harp and it is a lot of fun to play, particularly the single notes, which are very expressive.
    • This is a great harp
    • Excellent 0-10my MS Blues Harp was at the bottom of the list for me, To me the Blues Harp, plays like a Much Older Model, the quality of sound is number one, then Playability and the Blues harp is just not
    • I don't know of a better harp at the price
    • I don't want to blow a harp after someone
    • This harp is smooth, intuitively responsive, and still rings like a bell
    • Just an awesome harp
    • This harp is far superior than a regular Marine Band (which I have previously preferred over Lee Oskars or Suzukis) or any other that I have purchased
    • My harp should have been a factory REJECT!!
    • This crossover is one of the best harps I have owned
    • I have had a good number of mouth harps over the years and this one is great.
    • Hohner's Crossovers are one of the best harps you can purchase right out of the box.
    • Hands down, the easiest harp to play in the upper register.
    • However, you might want to try the Crossover, which is also an excellent harp, just slightly harder to play.
    • Love the crossover harps
    • With the Crossover, I know that if I blow a custom reed during a gig, my backup harp will be almost as good.
    • Exactly what I expect from a Crossover, well built, great tone, excellent harp.
    • Very nice harp, love the swelled covers easy to grasp with a microphone, and they let the sound out better.
    • Only thing to be careful of is playing too enthusiastically, since they are more airtight, heavy playing can cause reeds to fail sooner than lower end, less efficient harps
    • But if you're looking for your first harp, make it easy on yourself and ante up for a quality harp that you'll enjoy playing on more - you'll spend more time with a good harp, and thus learn faster.
    • This is a very nice harp but too much treble sound, which is the only reason I gave it three stars.
    • Only thing to be careful of is playing too enthusiastically, since they are more airtight, heavy playing can cause reeds to fail sooner than lower end, less efficient harps
    • I just play harp along with old friends for enjoyment anymore, but still appreciate the quality this harp has
    • However, you might want to try the Crossover, which is also an excellent harp, just slightly harder to play.
