Reviews around tone (5.00 of 5)

  • , I have always loved Playing the Golden Melody, it is a great, very Ergonomic, Great Tone, fast playing, (Very Good Scale 6)Lee Oskars are also in the very good category, but!!
  • Exactly what I expect from a Crossover, well built, great tone, excellent harp.
  • It is a beautifully constructed harp, and its tone is super.
  • But if you know how to stay in control and you're looking for an out of the box harp that has great wood tone and excellent dynamics, I would highly recommend these!
  • It is more comfortable to hold, has excellent build quality, and great tone as well.

Reviews around comb (5.00 of 5)

  • The Comb they say it is Glue Laminated Bamboo, it is slick, slicker than pear wood or the plastics(PVC) on the others
  • The combs are also very sharp and have hard edges which can actually be very rough on your tongue and inside of the mouth if played too long.
  • The combs are smooth, the covers are smooth, the size of the harp is a perfect fit for the hand.

  • It is more comfortable to hold, has excellent build quality, and great tone as well.
  • Exactly what I expect from a Crossover, well built, great tone, excellent harp.
  • The Crossover is well built and feels light & comfortable in the hands, and is very responsive to the breath, so responsive you have to correct "embroucher" to blow chords or single notes

Reviews around case (4.16 of 5)

  • Sounds great, comes with a nice hard shell zippered case
  • Like others have saided comes with a nice zipper case but the harmonica had a nice dent right above #10
  • However, it comes with a great zipper case and sounds incredible.
  • Very nice individual cloth, zippered cases with an easy to see key tab

Reviews around harp (4.02 of 5)

  • And cheap harps don't get you where you need and want to go.
  • However, you might want to try the Crossover, which is also an excellent harp, just slightly harder to play.
  • However, you might want to try the Crossover, which is also an excellent harp, just slightly harder to play.
  • With the Crossover, I know that if I blow a custom reed during a gig, my backup harp will be almost as good.
  • Exactly what I expect from a Crossover, well built, great tone, excellent harp.

Reviews around play (3.92 of 5)

  • The harp played every note nice and clear and loud!!AMAZING
  • This is easily the best harmonica I have played, certainly superior to the original marine band, the special 20, and the Lee Oskar line
  • The Seydel Session Low F has a more mellow sound, perfect for slow, Delta Blues style acoustic playing.
  • The combs are also very sharp and have hard edges which can actually be very rough on your tongue and inside of the mouth if played too long.
  • The Seydels are flat out the most comfortable harmonica I have ever played.

Reviews around cover (3.86 of 5)

  • The combs are smooth, the covers are smooth, the size of the harp is a perfect fit for the hand.
  • Very nice harp, love the swelled covers easy to grasp with a microphone, and they let the sound out better.
  • Neat package says "Handmade in Germany", cool zippered cover - ONE SCREW MISSING from COVER.$70.00 for a harmonica with a screw missing
  • The Stainless Steel covers are nice, they are opened up a lot on the Back, the Sides are also open like a marine band deluxe covers are, This lets more volume come through the sides, not muffling it, (
  • but I find the front covers sharp and really uncomfortable for tongue blocking

Reviews around crossover (3.71 of 5)

  • So far, in three years or so, I haven't had a bad Crossover.
  • The Special 20s are good, but the Crossover is fantastic
  • Maybe you can get a better deal with a Hohner Marine Band, but this Crossover is a ripoff
  • I like the Crossover, but to me it is not highly different in tone from the Special 20.
  • after owning lots of harps, ive finally learned that a crossover is the best out there
