I think the Hohner Marine Band has a brighter, springier sound and may not require as much breath on the draw reeds, but the difference is not great.
Great weight, silky-smooth against the lips, and marvelous sound
The sound is mellow,very bright and sweet (compared to the golden melody and marine band)it sounds much somewhat like a quality professional tremolo.with certain types of music...maybe i need to break it in..the protective case was a real pain to open and close
