The comb doesn't resonate like plastic or wood does so single notes are cleaner and more distinct sounding when them

The sound is mellow,very bright and sweet (compared to the golden melody and marine band)it sounds much somewhat like a quality professional tremolo.with certain types of music...maybe i need to break it in..the protective case was a real pain to open and close

They are heavy and have a harsh sound.

When played, the harmonica emitted a sporadic whistling sound, which should never be there.

I think the Hohner Marine Band has a brighter, springier sound and may not require as much breath on the draw reeds, but the difference is not great.

I have switched back to the Lee Oskars in B#, A and C, which have a somewhat softer and sweeter sound and fit my current playing style better.

But, to reiterate, if you like the sound of standard diatonic harp and want a harmonica that will perform like one, this is not the harmonica you are looking for.
