I wouldn't care if these were the best quality harps in the world, I would not recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to feel like they just finished smoking a pack of cigarettes while playing them.
-
Extremely cheap quality and a several of them had dead notes.
-
I figured if I could learn to play a poor quality harmonica, I would be even better with a nice set
-
Absolutely not, especially when they are such poor quality
-
If you are looking for very good quality harmonicas this is not what you are looking for
-
It's a great price for the set and it appears it's good quality
-
poor quality for playing professionally
-
They're not good quality Hohners like Marine Bands or Blues Harps.
-
Hohner is a great brand but these harps are cheap quality
-
The reeds are a little stiff when they arrive, which is actually a sign of good quality
-
As you find the keys that suit your needs replace the original cheap harps with better quality ones, but keep the originals for the keys that you don't use too often
-
Good quality, sound great
-
Yea, their not the best quality
-
These are poor quality, out of tune, and like some others have mentioned, have a terrible taste/smell.
-
but they take a lot of air to get a poor quality sound.
-
He played a little for us and the sound quality was great
-
If your heart is set on getting a set like this to learn on Hohner also sells a set very similar to this but with Bluesband Harmonicas which are of much better quality and easier playability than these
-
Sound quality is poor.
-
Good quality for something to learn on, love that it has a case for safe keeping!
-
There are definitely better quality harmonicas out there, but for the money you can't beat this set
-
Might be better off buying two better quality pieces
-
The outside shell is really soft plastic instead of metal, the sound quality is not dependable
-
The quality of these harmonicas are excellent.
-
This set her harmonica's are not by all means exceptional high quality but they do the job and won't disappoint
-
So, I have good-quality harmonicas in the keys of C, G, and D; and they serve me very well for playing along at folk singing circles
-
I'll use these to continue to learn but eventually will buy a few better quality and probably use this case.
-
I was expecting better quality than toys but I understood that they would be less quality than a professional set of harps
-
I would recommend putting the money you'd spend on this set into "one" better quality harmonica.
-
The instruments are the poorest quality.
-
great quality and well worth the purchase especially for beginners
-
now they are poor quality
-
anyway this set is worth what you pay they are made of plastic but there not made cheaply they do have quality to them the only problem i had was the funny taste they leave in ur
-
If I were an "experienced" player I wouldn't for a moment have thought that this was high enough quality for me at this price point
-
This is a great quality beginner set, perfect for learning players
-
If you want an inexpensive harmonica of decent quality, try the Hohner Blues Bender, or, better yet, the Blue Midnight Line (gig-worthy quality for a very reasonable price).
-
Inexpensive, and good quality, so for the price it is a good deal.
-
The Harmonica's are of decent quality and tone.
-
They lack tone quality.
-
Overall quality is lacking; cheap construction and they sound like toys.
-
Not everything made in China is bad, but I feel that when you are a beginner on harp, you need to find a good quality harp, like a Hohner Special 20 or a Crossover or
-
Extremely nice quality for very affordable price
-
I will now purchase them individually at better quality
-
very poor quality - 3 of them dont work
-
Perhaps a beginner is better off starting with one better quality harp and learning to get fairly comfortable with it and then gradually buying another one every now and then
-
These are a lot harder to play than better quality harmonicas
-
Not very good quality
-
They are not very good quality and have dead reeds
-
Great quality
-
These are fine for the price, but if you want to play for real, get a quality harp like the Marine Band, even if you're a beginner.
-
The case is a very nice quality case, but some of the harmonicas, (E for one) are defective, as the 10th whole does not produce a good sound, just an ungodly screetch
-
They seem to be pretty good quality
-
Good quality for the price
-
The quality of the harmonica is quite poor
-
When I saw the deal on Amazon, I thought it would be low quality harmonicas, but they are good quality.
-
If you are a beginner, I'd recommend a good quality C harp (Suzuki Bluesmaster!) and use these to fill in other keys
-
I recommend buying one good harmonica instead of 7 poor quality harmonicas
-
I’m happy with the set, worth the price for the product, but the quality is not the best.
-
The quality and tone are good
-
Should be evident in the ad that they are plastic and of bad quality
-
Mainly Hohner, although I recently discovered some Suzuki harps of pretty good quality that are reasonably priced...the "Folkmaster" is good for beginners
-
Yeah, the case is nice, but not of the greatest quality
-
The sound quality is not great, even compared to the cheapest of metal harmonics
-
I guess I should have expected them to be of poor quality
-
These are good quality plastic harmonicas in a handy, useful case
-
A beginner and pro alike needs a good solid quality harp, one that is airtight, and makes bending easier, which these harps do not
-
The quality of the sound is just horrendous
-
The harmonicas are not good quality and are very hard to play.
-
These are good quality, although the plastic casings are not incredibly robust
-
The quality is bad, and the roughly textured plastic made it hard to move from note to note.
-
great quality
-
Never seen such poor quality that suggested it was worth more than a cracker jacks prize
-
These are entry level instruments made of plastic but very inexpensive with a fair tone quality.
-
Really, everything you've read so far about the poor quality of these harmonicas is true
-
At first I loved these before I became spoiled by trying good quality harmonicas
-
Great case - but couldn't expect great quality for the price of the harmonicas.
-
Very poor quality and you can't get rid of that plastic terrible smell, like they have sat on the dash of the car for a week in the sun.
-
The sound quality is poor and at times they don't play at all.
-
They are difficult to play and probably take twice as much wind as a better quality harmonica.
-
I'm not a professional harp player but these seem to good quality
-
I remember my father having a hohner many years ago that was of much better quality than these
-
well, yes i learned i do indeed want to play, so yes i do want to get some better quality harps.
-
I am very unimpressed with the overall poor-quality of the harmonicas
-
Might be okay for a kids starter set, but if you are serious about playing harmonica, look for better quality than this.
-
bought them for my dad, he says they're good quality!
-
Not as good as my marine but definitely usable
-
They make lovely gifts for me to give,a gift that keeps on giving, as well as they are a great entry level harmonica with seven different keys to choose from
-
Some of them will correct themselves as you play them more, but overall, do not waste your money on buying these if you intend to play them
-
so I didn't realize that these would feel very plastic-y and cheap
