-
They still give a decent sound
-
The c sounds bad
-
a good sound!!I recommend this set for anyone who needs harmonicas in different keys and is not a professional.
-
They are nice sound is great
-
and you're a little curious what harmonicas in different keys sound like.
-
BUT I would say that they are most definitely a step ahead of the plastic Piedmont harps and would likely give a more enjoyable experience and cleaner, louder sound than the plastic Piedmont harps
-
The sound is pretty good, and to have a whole set for such a low price is great
-
I'm not saying I would play one on stage, but they give a decent sound
-
Good sounds, butnot quality made
-
this harmonica is junk.-plastic casing-very "soft" sound-NOT at all air tightI use Golden Melody harmonicas, but needed something to practice
-
They have a good sound like the pro's would have
-
They could never produce an even halfway good sound.
-
It took much less effort and had a better sound.
-
Great sound and fun to play!
-
Compared to metal, they produce a hollow sound and you have to blow pretty hard to get a good sound
-
The sound seems fine to my ear.
-
They are a little lighter than I expected, but so far at least, they have great sound.
-
By ease of use, I am referring the fact that it takes a LOT of breath to use the higher notes when breathing in, resulting in difficulty playing as well as extraneous sounds.
-
Even for a beginner trying to save money I wouldn't recommend these because the sound is so bad it makes it impossible to learn
-
Good sound and low cost but the smell and taste still strong after a month airing out on the counter
-
Sound is excellent, all the keys I need to play a long to whatever guitar, and the best thing is the case
-
When I blow on 1 and 2 sometimes the sound doesn't come out and I have to inhale on it hard for it to work a little.
-
but they take a lot of air to get a poor quality sound.
-
They sound "breathy", and take more air to make a clear sound
-
Even so far as just learning the proper sounds/techniques and finding the "sweet" tones on your bends, do get the better harps by all means, certainly
-
But if you just want to play tunes on the harp, these have a surprisingly very nice sound for the price.
-
The G harp 10th hole blow makes a wavering sound like a siren!
-
They are made entirely of plastic and getting a decent sound out of them is near impossible
-
Not to mention an abnormal, high-pitched, squeaking sound that accompanies them
-
Good solid sound
-
That said the sound is decent if you can get past the smell.
-
bad stuff, irregular and weak sound
-
they are not high quality as some of the others you would see but they are also not a typical dime store harp either, these harmonicas have a nice sound for being mostly plastic, and they are good for beginners not wanting to spend 50 dollars on a harmonica only to find out they don't like
-
The G harp 10th hole blow makes a wavering sound like a siren!
-
Really windy sounding and notes are really quiet
-
Very good sound with no bad taste or odor.
-
Good sound.
-
Although the body of the harmonicas is made of plastic, they produce a very nice sound and they are really easy to bend.
-
If I choose to continue to play, I will invest in a more durable set, but for $16 and over two years of use, these are excellent-sounding harmonicas and I do not regret the choice to purchase them.
-
Good warm sound, not tinny like cheap harmonicas.
-
These harps work and sound
-
There is way too much leakage to get a good sound.
-
Great sound.
-
It is too hard to inhale and exhale on the A, E and G. Uncomfortable to make enough sound to make a tune on most of them
-
Very nice rich sound and feel the balance vibrating on your lips
-
My husband loves them they have an amazing sound.
-
Anyone can enjoy the fun sound of the harmonica in 7 keys.
-
: This is a great harmonica set for the price great beginner harp and a great sound to add to your collection for more advanced players
-
Iam a beginner and it was hard to get good sound for me
-
Really difficult to get a good sound.
-
Good sound and low cost but the smell and taste still strong after a month airing out on the counter
-
By ease of use, I am referring the fact that it takes a LOT of breath to use the higher notes when breathing in, resulting in difficulty playing as well as extraneous sounds.
-
The sound isn't too bad, either
-
It took him a couple of weeks to figure out how to get the best sound from the Harmonica's, but he now enjoys them greatly.
-
Some are not so good, with an occasional dead reed and/or a problem where the player has to work hard to get a good sound out of it
-
Compared to metal, they produce a hollow sound and you have to blow pretty hard to get a good sound
-
The sound that sings forth from this set is incredible when accompanying other instruments
-
Great sound for the price also!
-
Terrible sound, leaks air everywhere, weighs about half as much as the nearly as cheap $8.00 Chinese made Blues Band or the Old Standby
-
Worst purchase I made all year, and I bought two one as a gift, I have played the harp since I was 16, I have played toys better than this, they leak, the sound is dull, they feel cheap.
-
BUT I would say that they are most definitely a step ahead of the plastic Piedmont harps and would likely give a more enjoyable experience and cleaner, louder sound than the plastic Piedmont harps
-
if weight and feel is a big deal to u don't get these harps, but,if good sound and value is what u r looking for, get them
-
The case is a very nice quality case, but some of the harmonicas, (E for one) are defective, as the 10th whole does not produce a good sound, just an ungodly screetch
-
Hohner is a well respected name and these entry level harmonica's have a good sound and were meant for those just starting out, who didn't want to break the bank.
-
They're plastic (which is what i'd expect at this price point) but they have a great sound and are perfect to learn on.
-
They play ok, but you have to blow pretty hard to make a good sound with these
-
The price and case is nice, but the plastic casing of each harp leaves them dull sounding compared to my other harmonicas.
-
the set came quickly and the sound is pretty good for the price i would recommend it
-
Not the richest sound and forget usable volume in all but soft environments but given that the whole set costs less than a typical Marine Band or Lee
-
As I improve, I intend to just start replacing the piedmonts with nicer, better sounding harps.
-
These don't bend, have a terrible sound, and take way too much air to blow/draw in order to have a decent volume.
-
Not only did this set provide me with that, but it is also certainly good enough for now...while the $30 each blues harps have a clearer sound and are a bit easier to bend notes, this $20 set is a great deal!
-
Aside from the fact of the harmonica being plastic, it has a good sound and is fun for anyone trying to learn
-
The read plate inside that makes the sound is made of brass just like any expensive harmonica
-
Extremely dead sound
-
They have good sound and great gift for my niece and nephew.
-
The sound is not good at all.
-
Bad sound
-
a bended note sound good takes away from what I'm playing on the guitar
-
The harmonicas have good sound, the hardest thing to get used to is the texture on the plastic reed covers
-
The piedmont harps are a little more difficult to get the right sound for me.
-
The sound is also horrible and they don't keep tune.
-
Sure the sound wasn't excellent, and they tasted a little funny at first
-
I had to blow extra hard to get a strong sound out of them
-
Dont get a Hohner Special 20 much better sound will work unlike half of these.
-
If they don't produce a loud sound that may be a good
-
I feel like I have to strain my lungs in order to get a decent sound out of these, and that creates some really bad habits for my singing voice.
-
These are pretty cheap-o.
