I've been using a bone china coffee mug with it at work, and it keeps my beverage hot (but not too hot) the entire time, and it doesn't make the mug too hot to handle!

Now, she can take as long as she likes (~20 minutes) and still have a hot beverage

It keeps my beverage hot for as long as I am drinking it.
