HooToo Wireless Travel Router, USB Port, High Performance- TripMate Nano (Not a Hotspot)

    • Some hotels allow up to 2 devices free for internet.
    • But almost no hotels limit me to the number of devices anymore, so this is basically irrelevant
    • It lets me bypass the number of device limit that many hotels have which works great when traveling with my family
    • At first I thought I wouldn't need it because the hotel didn't have any restrictions on the wifi, no welcome page to click through.
    • This thing has been awesome for it, it has also solved the problem of crappy hotel WiFi.
    • The reason this was needed was because some hotels will limit the amount of devices you can connect to their Wi-Fi (either free or paid)
    • A lot of hotels restrict access via their wireless.
    • In summary - very convenient especially for those who travel and have a bunch of gadgets and want the ease of having all their devices know the wifi immediately and paying for only one connection in those arcane hotels that still charge.
    • If you travel, regularly stay at hotels that have ethernet internet access, and are fed up with crappy overcrowded hotel wifi, get this thing.
    • I would recomended to anyone that travels and as it will help with those weak hotel wifi signals
    • I got burned at a pricey hotel last year that didn't offer WiFi
    • For some reason the nicer the hotel the stingier they are with Internet access
    • In a hotel with a ethernet cord you plug it in and you've got your own router so you can bypass any device limits or slow hotel wifi
    • I also thought this product might be useful in a hotel, for vacation travel, to avoid paying for or using spotty hotel wifi.
    • Most hotels have worked out just fine
    • B00HZWOQZ6to scan for the correct hotel SSID.
    • I'm a frequent traveler and sometimes wifi coverage is poor in the not-so expensive hotels where I live for months
    • Most often used to make my chromecast work with isolated hotel WiFi
    • The first thing its so small and cute you will fall in love with this router immediately, Does what its meant to be, I bought it for bridging my hotel WiFi which works well with some loss in throughput which is mentioned in Hootoo site that bridgemode will decrease the speeds( technically half of wifi speed for me) still it worked flawlessly with my chrome cast and home
    • However the huge limitation is that it doesn't support secondary authentication like most hotels seem to run anymore where you must go to a webpage and either login or accept the terms of use.
    • so no one even knows it's there and those who use t-mobile but suffer from bad reception(I work in an industrial area) we can now benefit from WiFi calling.
    • At home, i linked it with my 2T portable hard disk
