You have to get a hotel room that has really fast speed, because once you connect this as an additional Network hop it seems to slow things down by 50% or more

this is not a reliable thing, i just used it for one week and it just burnt down, and its not durable and material

This tiny little device does amazing things.

I've tried to use this capability and messed around with the machine for at least 8 hours, still to NO AVAIL, I cannot get the damn thing to connect my external hard drive with my computers via wifi.

Typically public WiFi will block peer-connections between devices; this is a great thing, as you don't want the guy/gal sitting next to you to connect to your machine and spoof your login sessions to your online services

As a portable mini router this thing is great.

The other good thing is if you are a hotel that DOES have wifi but limits it to one device

This thing is garbage, slow speeds 2 to 2.5 mbps on the wireless when i had a hard drive hooked up to it made streaming HD movies skippy and laggy
