I have used one other HORI product in the past (Fighting Commander Pro 4) and while it's tactile button feel was an commendable trait, that particular products D-pad which is essential as it is used for multidirectional movement in fighting games depreciated to the point of it becoming unresponsive over just a few months

The feel of this product is great when intended however given the track record of HORI's products now I can not rationally recommend a product or company that from my experience often fails to deliver what they advertised

First of all I'd like to state that this product is not worth $40

Nice solid D pad that captures my directional input with no issue.

It's has a good D Pad which is what you need for those NES, SNES, Master System, Genesis games.
