Hosa D5S-6 CAIG DeoxIT 5% Spray Contact Cleaner, 5 oz.

    • Then I played with the part a bit (sliding the volume left and right a few times)
    • But I still went ahead and bought it, since it was not that expensive and secondly the alternative of pulling out the preamplifier from the 19" rack, opening it and replacing the pot was lot more time consuming and expensive
    • Have used it several times and works great.
    • D5S6 Deoxit Contact Cleaner Spray works well with cleaning contact points, 1 can will last a long time.
    • we use it all the time and it works exactly as it say's it will.
    • Great cleaner, has surprised me several times with its ability to clean up moving plastic electronic micro switches.
    • Every time, if directions are followed, the switches can go from not working at all to working perfectly in minutes.
    • When I find a scratchy pot or slider, I can completely rectify the problem with 1 - 2 blasts of DeoxIT - so far every time.
    • Sprayed a couple shots in each cutout (two) on the pot, cranked the knob full left to full right three or four times and cleared up all the static
    • When I find a scratchy pot or slider, I can completely rectify the problem with 1 - 2 blasts of DeoxIT - so far every time.
    • I did have a hard time getting to where the contacts were, that I wanted to spray
    • Deoxit contact spray cleaner has saved me from having to replace components and much valuable time
    • I gave the deoxit time to dry, slapped the Yamaha's case back on, reconnected everything and crossed my fingers
    • I used this on any areas that might have oxidation as one channel was occasionally dropping off completely, or dropping 5, 10, 15, or 20 decibels regularly, and other times playing fine when using my phonograph
    • Sprayed a little of this on there, slid the slider a few times, and now it's smooth as butter
    • I applied this product as recommended, worked the button a few times and after a few hours it worked just like new.
    • Worked 1st time!!
    • "H": soak every f-ing thing in sight and get blowback in your eyes and mouth then stub your toe and crash into the wall trying to get the the sink to wash out your eyes and mouth, "M": not in the eyes, but still all the f over the place, and "L": a pretty reasonable amount.
