I assumed the "free trial" would begin when I inserted the Instant Ink cartridges.

So if you printed 300 or mare pages before inserting the Instant Ink cartridges you will find you have exceeded the "free trial".

Can't beat the price and the instant ink plan is the best deal l have found.
