HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Wireless Printer with Mobile Printing, HP Instant Ink & Amazon Dash Replenishment Ready (T0F29A)

    • Nothing would print in black, despite cleaning the jets multiple, MULTIPLE times, deleting and reinstalling drivers multiple times, replacing cartridges multiple times.
    • Any time I've ever purchased another brand, I've been very disappointed, and have always ended up going back to HP
    • The printer worked fine for about a month, although it would ask me to scan an alignment page and I got an error every time that the alignment didn't work
    • And I can attest that pings to the printer's IP address are a reliable 1ms, no losses, port 9100 is accessible any time I want (from my wife's laptop), and as I mentioned the 8600 plus worked great for years
    • Do not waste your time with HP!
    • Maybe 2-3 times a week I would like to print a page, and 75% of the time I can't just click print and it works, I have to go through disconnecting this and reconnecting that and an hour of my life is wasted because this F-ing printer doesn't want to work when I need.
    • I had to put time and effort into this purchase since my last four HP printers all suffered the same print head error within a year of purchase
    • If I find I print more, I can always upgrade to the next higher plan, which is still less than replacing the ink tanks one time a year.
    • Works as you'd expect fro HP.Had hard time to install drivers
    • so if you are lounging in the Cook Islands, sipping an adult beverage and suddenly realize you need to send a signed document permitting your neighbor to pick up your dog from the boarding facility before you get home, and you want your 3 page legal document concerning the pickup arrangements to be single sided...you can change the default setting of duplex to single sided printing and get the completed form to print in your home office for your sweet neighbor to grab on their way to the facility when the time is right
    • Don't waste your time with HP support, because they are worthless.
    • Maybe 1/5 times it will work as expected
    • This will be a huge time saver with all the documents I plan on saving digitally
    • HP is wasting my time, money and filling up landfills with substandard junk.
    • horrible printer... barely worked the first time we used it and ran out of ink within 2 weeks.
    • All went well...until it broke 3 times during the 4th month
    • Also, Heads need to be cleaned every time we need to print
    • This, as the printer has a hard time with that and all the wireless connections are very difficult to repair.
    • constantly cleaning print heads - wasting my time and ink (which are expensive for amount of ink you get).
    • , I get "Scan to computer lost" error messages every time I use my computer, and the functionality of the touchscreen is much less useful than much older printers I have had.
    • I have a terrible time loading ink for this machine.
    • My first printer threw a software error every time I tried to print and after hours on the phone with customer service going through the ridiculous steps of loading paper, putting in the cartridges again, turning the unit of and on, etc
    • this time it said it failed and i needed to run again
    • After another hour of my time, they are going to ship cartridges that will be here in a week because my time is not valuable.
    • wherein you always need the device ready and can't afford the time to fidget/adjust/call
    • It hasn't recurred since, but I was pretty annoyed that I wasted all that time
    • Everything is connected, but it throws an error every time.
    • I have wasted more time than the printer cost.
    • Overall: it’s not for someone who is in a time crunch, or impatient.
    • It's not worth my time to spend any more minutes troubleshooting these issues - and if it's any indication of issues that could occur over the next couple years with this printer
    • Stephanie kept trying to pressure me and each time I said no, she then tried to scare me and said "if I were you, I wouldn't use this PC for any credit card purchases or banking, you are at risk; your OS has been compromised"
    • I followed the directions to clear the jam then every time I go to print it says the same thing.
    • I will only get relief throwing this time/money waste out of a second story window--going to cut my losses and buy a NON HP laser printer
    • Every time we print, the print heads need cleaned.
    • loses wifi connection to device all the timenot very easy to keep connected to deviceafter purchasing 4 of these we will change brand or model next time
    • We've wasted sooooo much time due to HP's broken printer and their support line's false diagnosis!
    • I am having a difficult time getting technical support.
    • and it still jams up every time I need to print something
    • Other times, it's smooth as a dream
    • Print quality was terrible due to no ink output...would clean printer about 5-6 times and it would print
    • Never expected to have this difficult time setting up.
    • The inkhead gets clogged too often, and it is time-consuming to endlessly clean it
    • I ran it through ever trouble shooting and cleaning program multiple times, and still everything prints in pink
    • When it print it prints well, but it's a hassle every time I try to print because of the wireless connection.(Update as of 4/18/2018)
    • The "screen" is sadly small and it's incredible that 3 times you have to push to make ONE copy..
    • Last time it started jamming like
    • I am getting tired of running the Scan Doctor program and rebooting my computer and printer to try to fix the problem 3-5 times a week
    • It works exactly as expected every time
    • This printer has had major issues 3 times in the 3 months since I bought (connectivity, and internal operating software twice)
    • 3rd time I just demanded a refund directly from HP
    • Awful, I had a hard time connecting the printer (it should not be), I came in on Monday and it will not work at all!!!
    • and there randomlynow it jams every time we try to print
    • Last time it started jamming like
    • I also have created iron-on transfers for t-shirts, fabric bags, etc. using Avery T-shirt Transfers for Inkjet Printers for use with White or Light Colored Fabric or Avery Dark T-Shirt Transfers
    • In order to correct I need to reboot the printer.
