Works for a while, then the printer drops the connection to the network, and you have to reinstall all the drivers to get it to reconnect

I spent hours on a chat to figure out the problem with hp, when all I needed to do is upgrade the firmware which is tricky because it takes around five minutes and you will lose connection in three minutes

It seems that HP continually looses connections to the wifi and then can't reconnect but will also not give any error or indicate that it is not connected.

besides the fact that it loses connection all the time (need to shut off and turn back on again), we now just discovered - of course passed the Product Support date of 6/20 (today is July 3rd) - that when attempting to print greeting cards, there's streaking every inch or so on the picture whether color or B & W. We tried all the fixes of alignment, cleaning printing head, it has adequate ink levels and nothing is working.

Makes "hard wiring" redundant, replacing it effortlessly with a reliable wireless connection, given the fact that my router is on the third floor and this unit in the den at the basement level
