For this review, I'll be comparing the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB against the Corsair K70 LUX RGB
-
The caps also feel much better to the touch- the K70 caps feel decidedly cheap and thin, while the alloy elite caps have a smooth, soft coat to them
-
The wrist rest on the Alloy Elite RGB is also really nice
-
The new HyperX Alloy Elite RGB, keyboard has RGB, which interestingly, I seldom use, as I prefer the Blue LED's
-
I received the Red LED Alloy Elite
-
It commands a solid presence on my desktop, impressive in size, weight and appearance (flashy!)I've used my Alloy Elite with two Windows 10 laptops (an Acer Aspire and a Dell XPS) as well as a MacBook Pro, and it works fine with all of them
-
Material-wise, the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB feels of higher quality than other gaming keyboards that I've tried in store (i.e., Corsair Strafe, Razer boards, Logitech G910)
-
Having said all of that, I actually think the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB is even better
-
Blue especially never looked quite right on the K70 LUX, but on the Alloy Elite RGB is looks more vibrant and true blue
-
but it is a excellent keyboard, I've had a Corsair K90, Ducky Legend and a Ducky Shine 5, the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB with Cherry MX Blues is right at the top of that list
-
On the Alloy elite RGB, the mx reds are actually fairly
-
I was debating between getting Corsair's K70 RGB MK.2 but instead went with the Hyper X Alloy Elite RGB from Kingston and did not regret that decision
-
The first is rainbow wave, which is just as nice as that found on e K70 LUX
-
The lighting on this board is just as good as on the K70 LUX
