HyperX Alloy Elite RGB - Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Software-Controlled Light & Macro Customization - Wrist Rest - Media Controls - Linear & Quiet - Cherry MX Red - RGB LED Backlit (HX-KB2RD2-US/R1)

    • FYI the keys are really bright for not being a RGB keyboard which is cool.
    • Purchased this keyboard to replace a Logitech Wave keyboard that was full of gunk after 10 years, and every third key was sticky
    • The keys were scratchy and you could hear the springs in the keys compress.
    • It's solid, doesn't have a cheap feel, the red led is really nice, everything has been working fine and the keys don't feel very "mushy" in a sense
    • With my previous keyboard you had to be sitting up straight and directly over the keyboard to see the number and function keys
    • The keys aren't clunky and the key sounds are pleasant also.
    • However, the software also adds the ability to customize the gamemode switch, adding windows-altering keystrokes (CTRL+ESC, ALT+TAB) as well as disabling any normal key on the keyboard, which is surprisingly useful.
    • This keyboard looks amazing, got the best keys for FPS gaming (red switches) and really well constructed
    • On this keyboard, the keys are nice and smooth and the media buttons feel super stable and the volume wheel has been noticeably improved.
    • I've had very few issues hitting the right keys, as they are all spaced apart enough.
    • While the keys don't get nearly as bright as they did on my old Razer Blackwidow Ultimate, they are bright enough.
    • makes me think my last keys were maybe too sensitive for me
    • the feedback of pressing the key is much much better than my traditional and previous membrane keyboard
    • The keyboard also has textured silver keys to easily find the most important keys
    • Very strong keyboard, the keys a little sensitive though.
    • Just by installation it has a game-mode switch that disables the windows key
    • I've had very few issues hitting the right keys, as they are all spaced apart enough.
    • Only issue is it can get dust inbetween the keys quickly and its hard to clean, i recommend an air duster, but really any keyboard will have this issue
    • Pros: Solidly built, responsive keys, detachable wristpad, good array of control buttons, bright and customizable backlighting, USB passthrough
    • Highlights only the WSAD keys and some other popular gaming keys
    • This keyboard is amazing the keys are super smooth the wire is perfect length but the only down side is at first your finger will get tired fast
    • I love the RGB keys and how they pulsate when I type
    • I appreciate the lighted keys whether gaming or not, I hate having to have a light on just to type
    • With one KVM switch, the keyboard behaved as a mouse, moving the cursor when any key was struck
    • There's a game mode in which you can disable the windows key.
    • Secondly, you can not really see the capital LED sign cuz it is completely blocked by the number keys
    • I work at night a lot, with low lighting, as it makes it easy to see a low lit display... easy on the eyes... but hard to see the damn keys
    • With the optional gaming versions of the the AWSD1234 keys, it even allows for a tasteful spotlight of those (for certain types of games) useful keys; clever, and even esthetically pleasing
    • If you don't like Corsair's key, your choise is this
    • The keys are nice.
    • Mechanical keys are as always a joy to use, though I did have an easier time typing on my laptop keyboard with chiclet keys for some reason
    • It's comfortable to use with a nice wrist rest and the great keys
    • The media keys were very loose and wobbly as well as the volume wheel.
    • love the illuminated keys
    • The keys just feel so good to use and the textured surfaces are a nice touch.
    • Other than updating drivers, which should be done for any new piece of hardware, there is no software required to use its features, which include options for lighting, a gaming mode which disables the Windows Home Key, the bane of my gaming existence, and various tools for customization and sound, right on the keyboard itself
