This keyboard looks and feels good, though the Kingson's 'NGenuity' software is a bit cumbersome and limited in what it can do.

The fact that there is no obtrusive software needed is a godsend and i will never buy another keyboard with cancer software

The controls are laid out nicely and the keyboard backlighting can be customized easily from the buttons on the keyboard eliminating any need for complex software.

CUE is a buggy mess- my K70 LUX would often not be recognized by the software, the software would crash periodically, and sometimes my keyboard's lighting would just refuse to work

Unlike Windows users, I can’t download their software to get the full customization available, but I’m satisfied with the built-in options

Actual typing is as good as I could expect (i.e., keys don't feel cramped for me, there is n-key rollover, no ghosting).The software allows you to remap any key with a recorded or preset macro, and game mode allows you to turn off a few other key combos if desired: Alt + Tab, Alt + F4, Shift + Tab, Ctrl + Esc

The free software which you can download from HyperX's website allows you to create your own custom layouts and save them.

The software is a bit awkward but you can find plenty of instructions on YouTube (from HyperX)

The first is rainbow wave, which is just as nice as that found on e K70 LUX

The lighting on this board is just as good as on the K70 LUX
