My only gripe with them is that the volume control right from the get go was broken

This headset is very comfortable and I really liked the inline controls, however the set I received had a faulty wire somewhere and the sound kept jumping from one ear to the other.

I discovered the inline control was the culprit through a forum suggestion, but losing the controls makes using the headset a little more annoying (no mute/volume control).ACCESSORIES

I have an adapter that came with another brand's headphone brand, which negated the volume control on the cord of the HyperX, but I was really disappointed that they came out of the box like that

Turning the volume control up/down in any increment will cause unpredictable issues: Audio will cut in/out from one side or the other or will lose all audio completely
