These are not very durable cable wise I believe, but are definitely amazing sound, comfort, and noise canceling

The microphone that comes with the headset isn't as bad as people say it is
The microphone stopped working on this headset a few months after we bought it
_great_ for a headset (obviously not as good as a professional, dedicated microphone)
If you aren't concerned about the microphone then I'd certainly recommend these headsets but since she and I both use them to game with other folks remotely, the dead microphones are a frustrating pain.

And about yesterday is when the right ear stopped working.
I have to constantly readjust the cable a certain way because sometimes there is no sound or there is sound but only coming out of the left or right ear.
I have rather big ears, and I can wear this for about an hour or two until my ears start to hurt again
If you have big ears and dont like them to get squished when wearing over the ear headphones, then these are the ones for you.

I have had this product for a good while now (6-10 months).
A little over a month after I bought the headset the inline volume control broke
Left ear stopped working 2 months into having them...very disappointed as my son bought these with his own money...would love to be able to get a replacement pair, but the window for return has closed:(
from day 1 it came with some problems, now it didn't work anymore just 8 months of shy using!

The joints that connect the headpiece to the ears are solid pieces of metal, which is WAY better than the flimsy plastic ones that I had on my last pair

The audio cable was not damaged externally, but after wiggling it for a seconds I could get sound to arrive in the right ear, so it seems like the internal wiring to the headset itself was damaged
The wiring is cheap and causes crosstalk between the mic and headset
I like that its wired since i dont have to charger it but the volume was never that great on it and also if i dont have the volume maxed out, I cannot hear from one side of the headphone.

I've had this headset for 2 years and it is still delivering excellent audio, Durability has been great, no loose connections in the wires or any kind of issues with the headband and ear-cups
After having the headset only since February 17th of this year I've had to dock a star because now sound is terrible using the headset and audio sounds like garage band quality music due to the loose connection
However, after 2 years, one of the ears has stopped playing audio due to a loose connection in the wire going into the right ear.
Have persistent loose connection issue and the braided cord has tangled up to a point of no fix
It's like there is a loose connection within the cable

Love the headset however I believe that my Audio Controller is broken as it causes sound to not come from different sides unless the scroll wheel is in a specific position.
Unfortunately the headphones are only as strong as it's weakest link, the headphone plug broke shortly after plugging it into my iPad it broke
Using an already established budget headphone as the base gives the HyperX Cloud a distinct advantage over the sea of gaming headsets out there, most of which sound unbalanced at best and would never make it in the headphone market sans mic
Right now I’d consider the headset unusable and wouldn’t recommend based on the short life span.

This headset is very comfortable and I really liked the inline controls, however the set I received had a faulty wire somewhere and the sound kept jumping from one ear to the other.
I have an adapter that came with another brand's headphone brand, which negated the volume control on the cord of the HyperX, but I was really disappointed that they came out of the box like that
My only gripe with them is that the volume control right from the get go was broken

However testing shows the mic seems to like picking up background noise quite a lot
The mic on this is crystal clear, and it doesn't pick up background noise
The headset works great, the mic is amazing in that it doesnt pick up any of the background noise, and the headset itself provides very clear audio
The Mic sounds good but I had to buy a external usb sound card to stop the mic from picking up alot of background noise
The mic does an excellent job of filtering out background noise, though you must be weary of the audio volume, the mic will pick up louder sounds coming through on the headphones

Static hissing sound is a major distraction, something that might only occur on certain machines (including mine) although this could be a common issue among USB headsets
If I switch from my TV audio to the headphone audio it makes a loud hissing/distortion noise that is resolved by restarting my PC
They are extremely confortable, but there is static and hiss regardless of the machine, with updated drivers.

Microphone stopped working at 6 months, 3.5mm splitter failed around the same time
I've done this three times and now my splitter as of last night has broke again, which is why this product has 4 stars instead of 5
I contacted Kingston and they actually sent me another splitter for free which was amazing, but that one crapped out on me a month or so later
The only issue I had was the splitter that was included stopped working after about 2 weeks
