This headset is very comfortable and I really liked the inline controls, however the set I received had a faulty wire somewhere and the sound kept jumping from one ear to the other.

I think the wiring is bad

The wiring is cheap and causes crosstalk between the mic and headset

They are good headphones but it broke in the matter of a few months, the wire that connects the controller to the other part of the wire broke and there’s no way of fixing of it instead of buying a whole new one

the wire becomes permanently bent and twists until it breaks.

If the wire gets too loose for you, or it shorts out, send it back to Kingston and you will get a free replacement!

Poor quality wire that connects headset to device

so I could not hear out the left side(which I dealt with), then once again some wiring has messed up and now the headphone jack does not work

I am currently on my third pair of these all due to the same faulty wiring issues

However, the issues with the bogus wiring is awful

Sound cuts in and out just like a lot of other people described, likely due to cheap quality wires.

Though satisfied with the purchase, the wiring could have been much better than it currently is.

I like that its wired since i dont have to charger it but the volume was never that great on it and also if i dont have the volume maxed out, I cannot hear from one side of the headphone.

And the right wiring wouldnt cost the manufacturer a buck to provide the quality needed to provide us the cost paid

The very long wires to connect to my xbox controller got tangled up so much -- and the connector wires would make a static sound whenever adjustments were made

My only problem is the bad wiring internally

The sound, mic, wires, everything worked perfect UNTIL out of nowhere one side of the headset stopped working

Wire was extremely annoying and curled up- ended up being less than half the length capable

I don't think there are any better wired headphones for this price, period

It didn't bust because it still works, but the wiring must be faulty because I have to hold the cord just right for it to work properly

I have nothing to complain about except that the wiring near the end (where it's not a braided cord) may start to fail after a while

The Hypers I had before had only 1 wire and it worked great

The audio wire got too bent and broke about 2.5 years later

But the big issue with this headset is the wiring

After 6 months the separate channel booster went badNow a little after a year the wires gone bad in the main headset and no bass

Best wired headset I've ever owned, and I've own a lot.

The wires within the connection are now faulty after a few months so I have to replace them, but it'll only cost 6 dollars

The wires are quite long, but otherwise it works amazing

Speaking of the headphone cable it's a very nice braided wire instead of a cheap plastic cable you'd expect to fray or get cut easily
