If you don't care about a wireless gaming headset like me, then these are the way to go.

Bought these from my boyfriend the cushions are the comfiest and over all are just a good product for gaming.

This would have been a better product, but they failed to list that 7.1 surround is only available when you purchase a very expensive mixer piece

so i am not going to bash the product very hard

The product was fine and given to me in good condition in a timely manner, I just didn't check to see if the headset was compatible with my laptop

this one did to perfection will always recommend this product

As a serious gamer a well working headset is a must for full enjoyment along with being able to communicate with friends/teammates online

The mic works very well and is quite clear in Discord chats

if you manage to get a good working pair or send the broken one back for a new one then these may be the perfect buy and i would say the mod kit would be worth it too but from my experience with these they get one star.

how many times I had to contact ASTRO for new parts is sad the inline mute cable is trash and broke 5 times in a matter of a year and the sway bar mic broke once as well

Once I got the mixamp in the mail there was a night and day difference, the two combined is 300% better than just the headset alone.in summary do not just buy the headset unless you're like me and wanted the black headset but wanted them to work on the pc as well, but for some reason the black kit is for the ps4 and pc

I astros are a nice headset used by multiple or players or streamers, and as I started using then I see why because you can’t Hear outside noise and feels good on your ears and mic is nice quality.

While the Razer had good sound the mic would always pick up other noise and if it wasn't positioned correctly it would sound like I was in a wind tunnel just from breathing

In my experience, the cable is the Achilles' heel of most headsets; The wires inside break and the headset is ruined

I have to twist the wire around or unplug and replug it back into the headphones until I get sound out of both sides

I bought a pair of Astro A40's back in 2011 for $250 and they worked flawlessly up until this year, the wire that comes out of the actual headset itself started to short out, causing me to lose sound in the left ear unless I held the wire a certain way
