iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit

    • So, I decided to replace the hard drive instead of buying a new laptop.
    • From screen replacements to simple hard drive swaps on a laptop or what might have you these are the tools you are going to need apart from maybe some type of heat sources like a hairdryer or something stronger to loosen up any adhesive that might be holding a phone screen or something down
    • This toolkit is great with all the different attachments and bits you will need to work on laptops, iphones, tablets, etc...the first thing i used this toolkit for was to pull out a hard drive out of an old macbook pro
    • Sometimes, I clamp them in my drill and use them on laptops or disassembling hard drives
    • This toolkit has all the tools I needed for Hard Drive repair, Laptops and other modern portable devices
    • Instead of spending $2000 on a new laptop, I purchased a new 1 TB hard drive for $50, a new keyboard for $25, and a new power button and cable for another $25.
    • I've used it for multiple PCs as well as monitors, hard drives, network modems, and plenty of other PC related devices
    • Other than that, this kit has everything I need for any electronic repairs, including data recovery from hard drive platters.
    • all the time cause my kit was always missing some odd ball tip that the hard drive anti tamper screws needed
    • I was hoping to use it on my laptop for upgrading some components that are "difficult to do by yourself" such as the hard drive on my laptop (surface book)I have not used:the plastic guitar pick looking thingys, the metal half orange slice
    • I've used it for multiple PCs as well as monitors, hard drives, network modems, and plenty of other PC related devices
    • Needed to replace the hard drive in my Xbox so figured since I needed prying devices to open it and Torx screws to disassemble I’d break down and get the right tools.
    • It started with a hard drive failure.
    • I work in a job where I am constantly fixing phones and consistently pulling hard drives and such and if makes my job a 100 times easy especially since the original tools they provided are color coded and less then up to par.
