It's quiet (surprisingly less than -50db), has an excellent signal to noise ratio, and after Compression to bring up the levels in post, it still sounds great.

Because of this low level output from the iRig Pre, it actually requires the use of an PC/phone to further boost the signal.

When I recorded something at a non-clipping level with my AKG Perception 120, (not a fantastic mix, but certainly has soAunder better) what I get was a audio signal that had super high mid values
