Intel Core i7-7700K Desktop Processor 4 Cores up to 4.5 GHz unlocked LGA 1151 100/200 Series 91W

    • 6700 is a great cpu no question but 7700 is new and little bit more improved so its better
    • Probably should've done better research, only fully supported by Windows 10, put this in other build with windows 8, things were a bit rough for a while, but after the update things are working wonderfully
    • I reapplied the paste 3 times thinking I must have messed up, but it just idles a bit higher than you might expect (~35c for me at first, after some burn-in more around ~32c)
    • If you're needing an upgrade and are a bit too impatient to wait for the new AMD Ryzen (which is supposed to be as fast as the I7 6800k) get this or the 6700k if you wanna save a few bucks
    • The temperature can get a bit crazy when running 100% at 5.252 GHz, but that was to be expected, especially with a 25% OC
    • Little bit overpriced.
    • Much needed upgrade from the intel i5 4690K CPU as it was lagging a bit and couldn't handle a simple stream from OBS until I made the upgrade with the MSI Z270 motherboard and the boot up is faster than the old one.
    • While idling I periodically would see vastly different temperatures on each core
    • Thanks to watercooling, the hottest I can get this thing is
    • Not the fastest I own, but very close
    • Staying cool at 39 idle 45 loaded with a v8 gts cooler and T T core x9 air cooled case.
    • n’t have extreme water cooling
