• Reviews around performance (4.08 of 5)

Intel Core i7-7700K Desktop Processor 4 Cores up to 4.5 GHz unlocked LGA 1151 100/200 Series 91W

    • amazing gaming performance!!!
    • Great performance so far, no need to OC as I'm getting great numbers out of the box.
    • Solid performance
    • This processor should be a cheaper option to good performance, compared to current pricing of coffee lake
    • Incredible gaming performance
    • For now, this is all I need, and does great gaming performance.
    • and you can expect good performance for it's steep price tag
    • This processor gives you an outstanding performance out of the box without having to overclock it, it boost to 4.5 Ghz when needed, the bad thing is, this processor doesn't runs cool, while doing an Aida64 stress test it did reach the 70° mark while using the NZXT Kraken X61 cooler
    • Too Hot but pure gaming Performance
    • I just wish intel would do a better job with the ihs and the tim on the processor itself and optimize their hardware for better cooling performance.
    • Would recommend this processor, or the new coffee lake processors, assuming this performance is carried over and the bonus of the extra 2 cores on coffee lake.
    • Perfect price and very god performance
    • Why would I pay $150 more for an 1800x that was inferior in many scenarios to the best i7?Furthermore, many professional reviewers easily found flaws with the Ryzen 7 (including a bizarre performance drop off at 1080p gaming).
    • T Full TowerWindows 10 HomeGetting to 5.1GhzI updated my ASUS BIOS to the newest versionI used the ASUS Windows app AI Suite 3 to stress test the system to its Max stable performance
    • Better price, same performance.
    • The performance is incredible!
    • Other than that it is still a fast cpu that boasts great single core performance along with hyper threading for those looking to do light video encoding
    • Skip the Kabylake for now, for an all rounded CPU go with Ryzen 7 great performance, more cores, great value
    • For me the strongest single thread performance is key
    • Everything was fine, amazing performance and was pretty happy and impressed
    • Overall, amazing performance, it delivers what you paid for.
    • Disable features in my bios to improve performance?
    • Performance on this CPU is great
    • Doing a great job, great performance, the package arrived damage but the CPU in a great condition
    • Amazing performance!
    • This CPU can overclock much higher and you will 100% gain more performance for the same money why would you buy the prev generation CPU to save $5?
    • Unreal performance
    • Meltdown and spectre design flaw fixes can degrade the performance by 30%
    • If you are planning on overclocking get a bigger water cooler or one with two fans like the H75 rather than the H60.So far the performance has been amazing
    • Perfect performance at a great price.
    • Perfect upgrade from the i5 to enhance my video and system performance.
    • Performance is outstanding and well above my
    • amazing performance and high quality CPU
    • The fact that this chip stays as cool as it does is impressive and also speaks well concerning the performance of the 212 EVO cooler
    • Upgraded to this beauty and i get perfect performance right out of the box without overclocking
    • Best single thread performance of any CPU on the market
    • exceptional performance, and I believe i still have some room to go.
    • It is an amazing performance improvement
    • Really hurting performance and my overall first time experience using your products, remember I was an AMD fanboy, now I am slightly regretting this change
    • and now I can run 5GHZ Stable O/
    • That said, as well as the fact that this stress test is a hilariously unrealistic load, some users might consider this configuration to be perfectly fine
    • Sure, it's great that Ryzen performs as well as and costs half as much as a $1k
    • Mine idles around 33 C but merely opening a program makes the temps skyrocket into 60s
    • I was able to overclock it to 4.9GHz @ 1.35v with temperatures between 55°C - 60°C while gaming (not stress testing)
    • it runs in the low 40s C at idle and in the mid 70s c when stressed
    • is always at 70-75 C if i'm stress testing and 31 C at ideal with a constant VoltIf i enabled Adaptive voltage from My Asus Maximus formula the temp goes down to 25 CA great processor with a great Overclocking potential
    • I was nervous about the reports of high temperatures but after two months it has never broken 63 °C
