I also ask why did the CPU MAX TDP is set at 100C when usually limit it at a safe temp is 70-80C max to prevent stress on the CPU die from Rapid temperature change

I gave this a four star since the temps are insane

I'm seeing around 36-40C idle temps and at 100% load

Amazing and with a dual fan cooler the temps are amazing

The card even playing heavily demanding games never even touches 100% load and due to contrary belief keeps pretty cool temps while gaming, most games won't exceed it's usage of around 50% and with this it only gets 10*c hotter than my previous i5 which usually stayed around 45*c

Even under full 100% load in the Intel torture test software, temps haven't exceeded

Yes, there is a caveat, it seems to run just a tad warmer temp wise than ideal, but really nothing to be concerned about - because if you are buying this you should be investing in a quality AIO cooler anyway, or doing a custom loop that will tame that heat.

OC'ed to 4.6 with good temps

It is extremely fast, and over clocks like a champ while still maintaining relatively cool temps.

while gaming then I was able to get the temps to about 77C with the corsair cooler while gamingAfter delid you can get 5ghz around 68 to 74c range

I don't understand how I can't put over 1.37V when my temps are well below 50C idle.

Im certain upon delidding this thing I could easily get 5ghz+ with safe temps

I am using really good water cooling but stable 5Ghz OC all day long with stable temps and no crazy core spikes

Performance is great, great overclocker, but out of the box temps are some what questionable, around 45C idle temp with ~20C ambient.

Pros: - Running at 4.8ghz stable temps 35c-40c with a corsair h100iv2-Runs flawlessly super fast

Currently to keep my temps reasonable im at 4.6ghz at 1.25v with 85c under stress tests

But this happened when i was working on a case design and forgot to plug in the CPU Fans when i was stress testing the CPU at Stock speed for Temp stability and found the temps getting up to 100C and thermal throttling

Staying cool at 39 idle 45 loaded with a v8 gts cooler and T T core x9 air cooled case.
