• Reviews around intel (3.91 of 5)

Intel Core i7-8700K Desktop Processor 6 Cores up to 4.7GHz Turbo Unlocked LGA1151 300 Series 95W

    • Blazing fast and great intel quality as always.
    • Pros:-Easy with either Intel XTU or programs that supports overclocking
    • And Happy 50th @ 5GHz Intel.
    • Intel has already snagged them and put the 8086K label on them at a price premium (genius, in my book).
    • To those of you that don't know, to utilize this chip, you must purchase a newer Intel "Coffee Lake" compatible mobo
    • i am a little biased since i love intel, i grew up taking field trips to the portland, or headquarters and i became a computer engineer when i first learned assembly code, the beauty of the architecture was instantly apparent.
    • As of this date, the best Intel i7 money can buy.
    • Excellent chip Intel, thank you!
    • Other:-There is no avenue to reproach Intel and Amazon beyond these product reviews
    • I wanted the best Intel gaming processor available without going to the new i9 which still runs around $1000.
    • now!)This platform (300 series Intel with 8th gen) is too good
    • Great Proc Intel!
    • If you can't afford the latest Intel, then don't buy it
    • First real good intel cpu since sandybridge.
    • Intel done good with this CPU.I purchased most of my hardwares from local store at a much better price with rebate than amazon, but I do shop on amazon for years
    • I really liked that it worked intel did a great job
    • Aside from this, Intel still uses total garbage for heat transfer in Coffee lake CPU's, so my recommendation would be to buy the new generation about to go on sale this month - because for those, Intel switched to solder (which is more expensive, but also has much better heat transfer to the surface of the CPU.
    • Intel has deleted or quarantined all of the critical commentary regarding the Coffee Lake / 8th gen release on many of the social
    • they have more, they are just trying to stir as much of a swarm of eager intel puppies as possible that are OK with a Z270 Motherboard....whoops, I mean
    • Intel had to rush out with more cores to match the threadripper and that might thrill video editors but what about gamers?
    • Intel is an absolute pleasure to work with every time and easy to overclock
